IdahoBert Posted May 6 Posted May 6 The entire Central AL is now officially -.500. We are tied with Cleveland as the best of the worst. And the White Sox are the hounds of hell nipping at our feet. Quote

And our club is responsible for 20% of Boston’s measly 15 wins, a team that fired its Manager, and most of its coaching staff and sits in last place in the East… Quote

If he doesn't appeal and starts serving now, he has a start moved back a couple days. If he appeals, maybe he get's it cut to 3 but they'll have the ruling come down so it still falls into his next start schedule and it will have to be moved back. Edited May 6 by gehringer_2 Quote
IdahoBert Posted May 6 Posted May 6 Is it just protocol to suspend and fine the manager in a situation like this? Did AJ go out to the mound just before that pitch and tell Framber to “clothesline that bastard?” I stopped watching by that point. Quote

He may miss the next start, and it's anyone's guess how he feels about that, but if he could get his suspension reduced from six days to three, it would save him about half a million dollars, so it's worth the effort just for that. I think it might be just a you're-the-one-responsible-for-your-pitcher-type thing. Quote

Do you suppose player agent/lawyers take 30% of the net for the representation in a successful suspension reduction? Quote
