RedTeamGo! Posted May 8 Posted May 8 I honestly think the Raptors would have given a much better series than the Cavs. Harden is sooooo bad. Mitchell doesn't try at all on D. Quote
Deleterious Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Cavs are a better team at home. Will Kenny Atkinson finally make the change and put Mobley on Harris? You have to hide Harden's terrible defense. If you are not willing to bench him that is how you do it. More of the same for Detroit. Cavs will probably come out flying. Survive it early and steal the game in the 2nd half. Quote

No, they don’t have to hide Harden’s bad defense. 😆 I do wonder if he’s just at the point in his career where he is going to show wear and tear on both sides of the ball in the playoffs. Give him some credit, he’s played 70+ games the last three regular seasons and playoffs on top of that. But if it’s going to lead to him being ineffective on the offensive side, then there’s nothing for Cleveland to do with him but run the offense through other guys and use him as an alternative option. Probably not what they were hoping for when they traded for him. Hopefully the Piston defense travels. It’s just so damn glorious to watch it when it’s clicking. I’m a defense first fan, I find it more fascinating to watch. And seeing Thompson flying all over the place in this playoffs has been an absolute joy. Seeing that translate to other Pistons at times has been fun to see, too. And Holland and his bit of havoc off of the bench. Sure, this team is going to be heavily dependent upon Cunningham. But grind the opponent down along the way. Make them struggle to score, force them to use energy on both sides of the court. Quote
Deleterious Posted May 9 Posted May 9 You have to shoot over 50% from three when you have an Epstein file mustache like Robinson has. Quote

Deleterious Posted May 9 Posted May 9 4 turnovers in 3 minutes for Cleveland and Mitchell has 2 fouls Quote
Betrayer Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Outside of some sloppiness in the offensive end, good start so far. Quote
Deleterious Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Glad to see Harris post Mitchell on the switch. But don't shoot a 14 fade away over a guy 6 inches shorter than you. Quote

Betrayer Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Harden has been looking for that Harris switch. Tobias struggles against guards. Quote
Betrayer Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Also they’ve obviously come up with a counter to the hard hedge. It’s not something you can do all game because there are hard counters. You have to spring it on them and then switch it up. Quote
JackMorrisStache Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Why’s Dannis letting Schröder and Tyson get in his head? Quote
