Well, not rusty, maybe, but you can't have a guy on the active roster and then never ever use him. Lest anyone believes Hinch just reflexively and mindlessly pencils Jones into the lineup against LH starters, know that while you might have had a reasonable argument in support of that between mid-April and mid-June, when Jones started 20 of 21 games against LH starters, since then, he has started only two of the last five. As it is, we have faced RH starters eleven of the last twelve games stretching back to June 24. I believe it's fair to start him tonight against the lefty. Quote
