RedRamage Posted September 14 Posted September 14 MUST WIN ...if the Lions want to be able to say that they started 2-0 in 2026. 1 Quote

Mr.TaterSalad Posted September 14 Posted September 14 Bro had an entire body on his back. Was there a conjoined twin that never made it or something? Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted September 14 Posted September 14 Seriously though, what a waste of a signing. I liked it at the time because I thought Pacheco was the hard-nosed runner we needed to replace Montgomery. But it's clear and unfortunate that the guys body has nothing left to give. Quote

MichiganCardinal Posted September 15 Author Posted September 15 If both offenses limit their mistakes, this could turn into a shootout. Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted September 15 Author Posted September 15 I'll be in the house for this one. Don't ask how much it cost. Lions will probably go all whites, Bills are going blue jersey on white pants. Might wear my black Hutch jersey. Not that anyone will see me up in Section 441. 1 Quote

It was still an irresponsible amount of money, but it was the cheapest single ticket I could find where I would still have an actual seat (not SRO). Quote
Mr.TaterSalad Posted September 16 Posted September 16 Are you kdding me? Injuries again. They gotta tone down their practices or something. Blake Miller played one god damn game and he's already hurt. Mahogany didn't even make the full game and he's out too. Quote

And I believe he didn't miss one game and all of high school and 4 years of college yet he's already missing games here. I know the pros are tougher physically but injuries are a constant issue with Dan Campbell teams moreso than just about everybody else. 1 Quote
IdahoBert Posted September 17 Posted September 17 This is one of those rare games I’ll be able to watch because it’s on Prime. I’m actually looking forward to this. Quote
buddha Posted September 17 Posted September 17 The guy never misses a game for 4 years, comes to detroit and is out after one game. if it wasnt for bad luck we wouldnt have any luck at all. Quote

It obviously could just be an injury that happened and that's that. However, it seems there could be more to the narrative. Guy never misses a game in 4 years, comes to Detroit, goes through Dan Campbell's full contact, pads on practices, and then gets hurt. I'm not saying with any level of certainty that Campbell's full contact, pads on practices are the reason Miller is injured. I have no proof of that whatsoever. But we continuously lead the league in injuries and this guy, whose been a rock his entire college career, gets injured only after participating in Campbell's practices. We've been in the top 10 for total team injuries I believe 3 of the years Campbell has been here. Those years being 2022, 2024, and 2025. Maybe there is something to the Campbell narrative, maybe not. Quote
Stanley70 Posted September 17 Posted September 17 I don't think the replacing Miller with Borom for one game changes things that much. We weren't winning this game anyway. 1 Quote
MichiganCardinal Posted September 17 Author Posted September 17 The sky is not falling. On a short week with a rookie and a very capable veteran in Borom waiting in the wings, they’re just playing it safe. 1 Quote
