nope. Europeans would probably go DD MMM YY(YY) and probably wouldn't throw the day of the week into the middle of it.
Day of the week in the middle is just odd. YYYY-MM-DD - in a numeric fashion - is something I use sometimes, but isn't standard at all, just easier to make sure no one's going to get confused.

Whatever they can get for him really, but a receiver or a fit cornerback would be a good start.

Yeah, that was pretty good actually, although the timings got slightly ridiculous towards the end.
Did you get Bloodlands yet? James Nesbitt as a detective in the North of Ireland - has some nice moments and twists in lots of nice ways.

It's all your fault because we got the Liberty über alles thing from you guys.
Nah, it was those guys on the ship that didn't want to stay here.

None, however, appear to be on Britbox - if the list I found is actually what's available.
Of the crime stuff, I'd recommend Shetland, Unforgotten (Nicola Walker - sigh) and, err, Line of Duty (if you want to be really confused).
I would recommend Mrs Brown's Boys, but I like you all, so I won't.

My daughter has been home from school since last Friday. Initially just felt I was being extra cautious as she was complaining about a runny nose Thursday night and coughed a little bit. No fever, no nausea, but an occasional cough and a lot of sinus draining. Over the weekend she complained about her throat. No sign of Strep. Overall doing better, but still draining a bit. Pre-covid, i'd chalk it up to the common cold and hope it didn't turn into a sinus infection. Finally called the doc today though at my wife's urging. Based on her symptoms/severity, they don't want her to come in, but say to try and get an over the counter covid test and not to send her back to school until confirmed. Weeks ago I noticed them everywhere. Can't find them and if you are looking for one, don't trust the 'in stock' reporting on any pharmacy website. So now, PCR test scheduled for tomorrow, Walgreens is saying 3-5 days for results though. I'm pretty confident she's going to be out of school for at least a week over the sniffles...annoying.
As a teacher, I'd thank you for keeping her off.
We had a few in last week coughing all over everyone and everything. Really helpful parenting.

Morse is rather old now - the storytelling is pretty darned good but some of the production is rather dated now. I like it but I remember it coming out and lived pretty close to Oxford for a time. And drank the same beer...
We just got the most recent three episodes of Endeavour (same character; prequel - in case you weren't aware). Obvs the production values are much more up to scratch. Not watched them yet, but I imagine they'll be good. Lewis was in the same canon and came after Morse - also worth a look I'd say.

How pretty?
If you like brown, sure.

Rain? Remind me, what does that look like?
Everything's scorched here just now - barely rained this month and we have pretty sandy soils.

Why did they bring this game forward? Weather forecast or something else?
Not that I'm complaining. It's not the middle of the night so that helps me...

I wasn't expecting to see triple digits. A creative manager could also use him as a pinch runner and defensive replacement provided his defense and baserunning hasn't declined significantly since he was in Detroit.
He played a few innings in the outfield last season I think.

Where they are right now, only 75 would be a disappointment. One win in each series is 76.

Catchers 2 - Everyone else 0

Only catchers are allowed to score runs then?

Kreidler's strikeout rate is way down since moving up to Toledo. If that's not a flash in the pan, there's some potential there to hold his own as a batter.

The guy who parried the ball back in to play is 20. He'd just top scored in our innings.

In more good news, my team was in a cricket final today, and won. This happened:

Fear or just the inevitable feeling of upcoming doom?

But have you been to the Homerdome? Yikes!
They knocked that down didn't they?
I have been to the Rogers Centre - which seemed perfectly reasonable as a stadium. I'd say it has some character. Maybe it's the roof thing, maybe the hotel, dunno.

Worst stadium in baseball...
This all happened in the middle of my night, but probably the second worst stadium in any sport in the world as far as I can tell.
I've been to Portman Road...
