Yeah Levin should have ran in the 10th with the full support of the Democratic party, and whatever he needed to win. He would be a good fit for the district. Its a seat the Democrats should win especially if they want to improve with working class white voters. I guess Levin wanted to run in the 11th and risk a  tough primary for a easy general election but for the good of the party he should have ran in the 10th.

My prediction is Democrats win all 3 statewide races in Michigan. Republicans take the Senate 51-49 and pickup 12 seats in the House.

I really dislike John James I hope he loses, hes one of the top people I want to see lose. Why didn't his opponent run ads that he didn't live in the district. I have seen a decent number of ads for the district but none about him living outside the district.

I'm sympathetic to the regular season should matter argument and I not a huge fan of expanding the playoffs. Its been fun watching the playoffs this year though. I would hate it if they expand it anymore. Any more expansion of the playoffs will allow under .500 teams in, its possible now I believe but probably would be a rare event. I think they should have no divisions and a balanced schedule playing all other teams in your league 10 times with the rest inter league play. The top 4 teams in each league by record make the playoffs 1 plays 4 seed 2 plays 3 but make the first round best of 7 not 5.

Thank you. So maybe thats also why they waited to bring him up,  also he really only has this year of really good hitting, 97 games. he's going to have to be above average hitter if he has a future with the team.

Most of the players having down years would have to rebound and Greene and Torkelson would have to be around a 750 OPS then maybe.

Trading Verlander was a mistake. I hate seeing him in an Astros jersey. Hopefully the rebuild goes fast so Verlander can come back and be the veteran pitcher for our young pitchers, and also to win his 300th game in a Tigers uniform. Yeah he's winning 300 games.

Carpenter is batting 6th? Should have batted him 2nd or 3rd get him some at bats. Hopefully he plays every day till he proves he cant hit, got to see what they have. Anyone know if he is a good fielder, or even average?

Should they have done a full point? Do rates have to go up to the rate of inflation?
