  1. Rays' fans might have some beefs for the moment - they went 'off board' and selected a 6'4" 240 lb first baseman (out of HS!) in Xavier Isaac

MLB Pipeline apparently had him at 113, Kiley at 90 (per the FG chat)

how many analytical psychology jokes can we make during his career?

Perhaps it's better that his last name was Jung, rather than Freud (or worse - depending on what direction you want the psychology jokes to go)

Not saying he is necessarily wrong but let's face it no matter who we drafted Shep would've said it was a great pick. They could've picked me and he'd be like "He's 40 years old with a ton of message board experience so he's not some immature High School kid, he will bring a wealth of knowledge to the young tigers hitters. Great start to the draft for the Tigers!"

You bring plenty of moxie too!

    The Rockies take a Pitcher..

One personal draft philosophy of mine I want to point out:

Do NOT draft a catcher in the 1st round. I'm 99.9% against that. Especially for the Tigers. Gimme Jung or Collier...

    Well... Parada's off the board

Aside from milking part and the fact that unlike in football and basketball where fans have more knowledge of the players being drafted I think one of the things that makes the MLB draft not as fun to watch as other drafts is the lack of trades. Watching those said drafts one of the exciting things is seeing if your team will move up/trade down pick up extra picks etc. it just isn't as exciting knowing that once you pick your done for that round. Basically means that you can turn it off after your team picks and not miss anything they do.

Just need to avoid the 'uncomfortable interviews' part of the NBA draft - where a player is wearing the hat from one team answers all the questions positively - excited to be playing for team X etc - and then is told that he was traded to another team.
