  1. He'll be pardoned by January 30, 2025.
  2. Very difficult to win a war when the troops don't have any reason or really want to fight. Most of those Russian troops don't even know why this is happening (like the US in Vietnam). Trying to put the Soviet Union back together ain't so easy if the other countries (now that they've had 30 years of freedom) don't want it.
  3. Putin and Kim are going to meet. A well-placed explosive would be nice.
  4. LOL at Brian Kelly (he killed a kid) and Dabo Swinney (hypocrite whiner) things is getting shook up. college football needs it
  5. Good. Tired of the same 4 or 5 teams (including mine). Shake it up some .
  6. Brian Kelly..........couldn't happen to a nicer guy. This is why high-ranked teams don't schedule other high-ranked teams early in the season anymore. Brian Kelly killed a kid.
  7. LOL. White Sox. That was great. What a great weekend. We didn't even have our best player, either. LOL.
  8. I don't know. I didn't watch the game, but I bet if I look at the replay on his double in the first inning he was probably yapping. Dude ties his shoes right and he runs his mouth. My 2nd most-hated player in the Majors right now.
  9. Hey, White Sox, Hey, Tim Anderson...............trash talk THAT, you Southside Schnooks. Enjoy 4th place because you ain't leaving !
  10. WHAT A ****ING PLAY !!!!!!!!!!
  11. But the book says Lange has to go in the 9th. That's what it says.
  12. AAA pitching isn't where I'm looking for future gains. AAA is a storage shed for pitchers you might need in a pinch, AA and lower is where you look to the future and it's not so bad. Someone could win the ALC with 80-83 wins in 2024 probably. I don't think the Twins are that good and with their history, they might break up the team in another year. The White Sox are the wild card. There's a ton of individual talent on that team, but the vibe is a disaster. You get the right skipper in there and they could turn it around quick. For the Tigers it's still about 2025 and beyond. You could do enough to make next year fun, but they shouldn't make any moves that hurt them for beyond next year and that might mean sitting on some rookies next year that underperform like Tork did last year. What I am hoping for is that the 2025 Tigers are like last year's Orioles - where you see it's coming and now they look like they'll be a very good team for awhile (though I trust their owner to screw it up somehow). I think that's what they are doing and I think that if they don't believe Colt Keith is ready on Opening Day, he won't be here. Same for Malloy, who is a tricky prospect because he looks like only a DH.
  13. Don't know that we can grade him until his first draft class has 2-3 years to develop. Also, we don't know if Chris Illitch has put limitations on any kind of spending. I'll give him an A on replacing the scouting department and I'll give him an A for Comerica Park changes. The rest is wait-and-see. Feels like he botched the trade deadline, but E-Rod may have been telling him something and then backed out in the last minute. The pre-season Phillies trade is a wash. I like Vierling and don't think they'll miss Soto or Clemens at all. Maton is a total disappointment and it feels like they're kind of done with him already. The second Phillies trade is kind of a wash too. Lorenzen was only here for a year and we got another team's Top 10 prospect. Turned out better than I thought.
  14. Start throwing long passes and running up the score on these guys if they're gonna get dirty.
  15. it's all that kale he eats
  16. Who is Michigan's QB2 ? Orji? I have no idea. They'll probably be in the game for the whole 4th quarter. Why risk an injury to JJ, he's obviously sharp already
  17. Gotta have Tegrity.
  18. I like Mike Tirico, but watching this with no announcers is fine by me. Don't know if it's intentional or tech difficulties
  19. Up there with Charles Woodson at MSU.
  20. But it's not. If I add up You Tube TV, Hulu, Peacock and Netflix, it's a little more than half of what I was paying before. Cable costs had gotten insane. Cable/Internet was up to $240 a month for me. Now internet and those packages are about $145. Cheaper than going to a decent sized concert. I am a radio Program Director now and it's the only reason I can see Arctic Monkeys and Beck in the same week. If not for the perk of the job, I could not afford that.
  21. it's all fixed anyway..........
  22. Wow, Michigan got away with one there. Crappy refs.
  23. He was over the line there.............No TD
  24. Crappy job by O-Line on the first drive. That was alarming.
