  1. I like Davenport. I remember the Saints LOVED him back in 2018. Mortgaged the future to go move up for him. That didn’t work out but clearly Glenn likes what he brings to the table.
  2. Busy day for the NFC North sans Detroit.
  3. I like Alim a lot. He's probably one of the most underrated players on the team. But I think one more elite player on that defensive front, alongside Hutch, would make a world of difference for the entire defense.
  4. This is an outrageous amount of money for an aging running back who has not played a full season since his rookie year.
  5. Raiders gonna Raider. That's too much.
  6. I'm sure his former teammates look forward to saying hi to him before and after games (not during, he'll be hurt).
  7. I think he is in that elite tier, and I think he would probably be the best pass-rushing DT we've had since Suh. I don't want to get into a bidding war for a 28yo though
  8. I posted this last year around this time and it worked.
  9. I think Holmes will gamble on himself and pickup a guard on day one or two to replace Jonah.
  10. Landon Dickerson signed a four-year extension with the Eagles. Jonah Jackson is sitting somewhere refreshing his Twitter feed to see the compensation.
  11. I don't think Sneed is going to be worth the draft compensation that the Chiefs will demand. But he's a good corner.
  12. Doubt he knows anything. But maybe.
  13. I doubt a trade gets worked out. Seems if Cincinnati wanted to trade Higgins it would have already been done.
  14. Wilkins is the one I’d love. Position of need, and a great character to add to the locker room.
  15. I'd be okay with that. Honestly with the increased cap it's not even the end of the world if he's the 6th offensive lineman next year.
  16. This is one of my favorite days in the offseason. Everybody pays attention to the Draft but it's the real die-hards that are glued to screens for the start of legal tampering. Holmes was busy last year on this day. Extended Buggs in the morning (which we generally liked), then made the big deal to get Sutton (which we loved), and then extended Anzalone (which we hated). In fairness to my reactions that are coming today and this week - I was badly wrong about Anzalone. Anzalone was the leader of this defense last year and $6.1MM yearly seems like a bargain a year later.
  17. Three years is a long time for a 32yo offensive lineman, but he earned it last year - and $6.3MM yearly won't break the bank. Hopefully we can get at least two years of starting out of him on that deal. I'm okay with it. I think this may be a clue that they're not keeping Jonah, though it's not dispositive.
  18. Yeah.... I am all for there being equal opportunities for women's sports at the amateur level. But it is force fed at the professional level. The WNBA does not make a profit and hasn't for the entirety of its existence. I think if the NBA thought they could disband it without causing riots and vitriol they would in a second.
  19. From over a month ago, but still topical. I don't know how UM administration sees something like this and says "yeah no need for intervention there." If your AD has a worse approval rating than the IRS, something might be wrong.
