Multiple bears players in the post game interviews were asking why they didn’t fall a timeout.

Dude he is a rookie and his coach had a timeout. Have some perspective.

Yes. And if the ball is snapped in a reasonable time that’s all food. But 12 secs went off the clock with no one in position. You cloud has the timeout then and still have time to hit the middle of the field a fire drill or a side line out and full play clock to kick the field goal. The coach failed. Every last person talking football on any platform blamed Eberflus. He got fired for it. It was on him. No one else.

Watch the replay. With 20 secs left they were no where near lined up. At that point it had nothing to do with the QB. They weren’t lined or in position, time to use the timeout.

They only had one timeout.

The refs weren’t very good yesterday. This call. The 4th down PI, it’s inexcusable. The game is fast and these guys make mistakes because they see things incorrectly in real time. The nfl needs to save itself. Have a ref upstairs just phone down and say nope, wrong, play on, or penalty. Leaving so much to guys on the field is antiquated.

But again, he changed the play well after the point where a timeout should have been called. He didn’t change the play until 15 secs left. Coach set the kid up to fail. He is a rookie, of course he doesn’t understand all the nuances. Even at 10 secs you could have called a timeout!

Lol his best option was to stick with the plan? What. No. Once he saw people weren’t lined up by 20 secs you call the timeout. That was not on Caleb Williams. He is a rookie, he didn’t do any audible until 15 secs. It never should have gotten below 20. Not to mention they should have used the timeout at 32 secs. It was 100% on the coach.

Like always. We will just have to take care of it. Teams cannot beat the north. Embarrassing effort from the dolphins.

That doesn’t seem legit.

Dolphins win the toss and defer, as one would when you understand at least one thing about football. Even if the receiving team scores a TD they when no opportunity to possess the ball twice in a row.

Who cares about KC. We had every opportunity to put it away.
