    3rd and 30 and the lions give up a first down. This has been a really big concern. 3rd and a mile and teams have been feasting against this defense. It’s truly hard to understand. Why are they not playing more prevent in that situation? 3rd and a mile is almost a guaranteed first down.

    That doesn’t always work. Bring in 2 UDFA kickers and let them complete. I don’t want to see anymore patternson or badgely again. Holmes has really screwed up the kicking situation

    Still concerned with the 3rd and short calls. Lions have really struggled in 3rd and 1 and 3rd and 2 this season. It’s odd. They convert on 4th and 1. Gibbs it’s good man.
