I think these guys shot their emotional wad last week. They look listless out there

C'mon Lions. The NFC championship game is right there for you if you want it badly enough. You're at home. Go take it
-
Still pretty much 0-0. Just playing half a game now instead of 4 quarters
-
Aren't the Lions supposed to be the "superior" team to the Bucs? Been hearing that all week
-
Don't like Tampa getting the ball back here. And again to start the 2nd half
-
Cool.
Now score a TD

I think LaPorta's knee is ok

Goff looks like sh*t so far. Please tell me this isn't going to be one of *those* games

Instead of Kool-Aid, I'm drinking Packers Tears today

That was a hell of a run by GB to close out their season. They're going to be tough next year

That was a good game

not if brock purdy is your qb.
I'm a little puzzled by what SF is doing. They have a beast at RB and they're letting Purdy throw

Several years I put together an audio file I entitled "80 Years of Classic Detroit Sports Memories" (I have an updated version ready to go). Clips of 65 big moments, 1935-2014.
You can hear the climax of Schmeling-Louis II at the 1:32 mark. Hearn's knockout of Duran is around the 31:30 mark.
This is really cool

That's exactly what I said .. in 1982.
But in all seriousness, this is a dream situation for the Lions. Home playoff game vs a 9-8 team to advance to the NFC championship game. And despite Love's talents, I'll nonetheless be cheering for the Pack on Saturday. A Packers @ Lions matchup in the NFC championship game would pretty much be the most anticipated event in Detroit sports history.
I would never presume to second guess you lordstanley, but by far the most anticipated event in Detroit sports history was Joe Louis v Max Schmeling 2. No Lions game would ever come close to that. The whole world watched that fight.
And in my lifetime, the biggest, most anticipated event in Detroit sports history was Thomas Hearns v Ray Leonard I. That fight wasn’t just a Detroit sports event, or even a national one. It was a massive, global sports event

That's a little rough from Rams fans. I thought Stafford was a f***ing warrior tonight. He got the hell beat out of him and was still dropping dimes all over the place. He's the least of the reasons they lost

I would rather play the Packers at home in the NFC championship game than the 49ers on the road in said game.
Either way, still gotta win the next game first

i want no part of the packers.
Green Bay crushed Dallas at home, Lions lost to Dallas at home, Packers crushed the Lions at home, so....

I'm waiting for people to realize our winning score was a 50+ yard field goal. And people were worried about our kicking game.
I'm still worried about it honestly

So if GB happens to roll in and stun SF, and the Lions take care of business against the Bucs or the wounded Eagles, we would face GB in Detroit for the NFC conference championship.
The Lions seem destined to play GB

Yeah I'd say the rebuild is ahead of schedule

Damn. A playoff win. 32 years
