More Clark and Langford discussion here but shocking it says the same as lots of people here about lets wait and see; as we all knew Langford would more than likely make it to the majors before Clark but not at the rate he has so far so that is why people are bringing it up so much. I wonder if Nationals and Pirates fans are having these same discussions.

It does make sense that the bloom might be off Madden a bit, but if they were concerned about needing room for SGL in the Toledo rotation, when healthy, that could have factored in. It does suggest that they hold Hurter in higher esteem, at least as a starter
Which isn't shocking, the Org has been pretty adamant that they believe in dominating the strike zone and that's what Hurter does so he probably does sit higher in their eyes.

Since they get an extra guy tomorrow do they bring up Manning to pitch the one game(scheduled for Toledo tomorrow) and push Skubal to Friday?

One of the aspects that I like about the deal is that the Tigers acquired a legitimate CF and a possible SS, both with some above average potential skill sets. I like building up the middle that way. In particular, I like the prospect of someone like Clark in CF with the bat that comes along with it.
The other thing is we don't know what Langford's number was for the Tigers. He very well could have had one that requested he be the highest paid in the draft for the Tigers or significantly over slot which Tigers didn't want to do as I am guessing Harris wanted to start filling the minors with his type of players. So much goes into this that we don't have visibility to. That being said I hope fans give Clark a better treatment than they gave Jobe.

Dodgers claimed Taylor Trammel, so you just know he will be an all-star next year.

Urshela with a great play at 3rd and Flaherty under 70 pitches through 5.

No real position prospects at Erie, besides Lee and maybe Allen. Rotation looks pretty good, though.
Agreed, outside of the Erie rotation the majority of our intriguing prospects are split between Toledo and Lakeland.

WM and Erie released their opening day rosters. Some surprises. Dylan Smith back in WM. Gold, Anderson, Serretti, Pacheco and Graham all in WM.

Manning looks pretty good so far. Gave up a 440 foot poke to dead center, but he’s struck out 6 through 3.
Perez with a double and triple in his first two plate appearances. Dingler tossed out a base thief in training. Darn good weather for a home opener.

Manning with a nice pickoff move here, unfortunate for Quero though 😬

On a winning streak and it's an off-day...sigh...
I hate the day off after opening day. I get the idea behind it but having waited 6 months for real baseball and then have a day off right after is cruel.

I joined to talk Tigers but it was Motown Sports. I think...lol
I joined when it was Motown Sports and I was a junior in highschool so that was 2005?

I'm guessing he ends up as a reliever just based on build but below is from last week's start.
