    I’m still disappointed about the routine grounder Mckinstry missed in game one yesterday. I know Hinch won’t bench him for a week but I sure would like to see it. Anything to send a wake up call to these guys would be good IMO.

    After a very shaky start, that’s was a very good recovery for Wentz! Encouraging but it’s hard to shake his struggles last year.

    See that’s my problem with some of your posts. I get Tork is struggling right now but he just hit 31 homers and 94 RBIs but you put him in the same category as Baez? He wouldn’t make a mlb roster? Friendly advice, so take it for what you will, but the hyperbole is getting a little old.

    Wow this offense is frustrating to watch. Mistake pitches given and popped up or fouled off every single time.

    Manning has been living in the middle way too much today. It finally bit him. 3 more runs seems almost insurmountable the way we’ve approached our ABs today. Hopefully we wake up!

    No I disagree with Keith batting ahead of Tork. Maybe if Tork bats 4th and Greene is injured? Maybe Hinch hits him lead off a game or two? Batting ahead of him on a regular basis, nah I don’t see that happening based on Hinch’s MO and how the season will likely unfold.

    Baez should just not swing at any outside pitch. It’s going to be a slider/sweeper and he has no shot at making contact. Go down looking is better than swinging at something he’d need a boat par to hit.

    Why send him there? A lot of early mistakes by the 3rd base coach. This offense can’t afford to give away outs in the base paths.

    Man, it sure would be neat to have an offense who punishes middle/middle pitches. Our guys either swing and miss or foul them off. It would also be neat if our pitchers wouldn’t hit the middle of the plate so often! If only, right?

    Really bad AB by Tork swinging at ball 4 and 5. He needs to get better with RISP and quickly!
