  1. May be true. I will worry about it in two weeks if it matters then.
  2. I think if any of us were out there we could've had two steals or a few deflections in five minutes. Jenkins and his hustle - love to see it. Yeah he took a few shots in the second half I wish he didn't take, but the guy's heart was on display out there. He was making key paint plays.
  3. It felt like one of those ABC school lessons in the 80s. How many times will he dunk? One is the magic number. No 2. No 3 is the magic number.
  4. We all knew Cleveland would make a run. They did and it didn't matter. God, I enjoyed that game.
  5. Seven more halves like that, please.
  6. I went for a walk after the game to burn off some adrenaline and the thought that kept hitting my mind was "it's nice to know the Pistons are playing basketball deep into May." Kind of put a smile on my face for the entire walk.
  7. If that injury doesn't happen, I doubt the Pistons advance, so I'm glad he's injury prone.
  8. Jenkins is the guy at the party store that rambles and everyone just knows that's what he does, and people just move on. Jenkins' future here in terms of role - I don't really know. I think this team needs a PG that can spell Cunningham and probably the the reserve spot from Jenkins. But that said, his story this regular season is a huge reason why this season has been memorable.
  9. Another second half lockdown on defense - well certainly third quarter.
  10. Time to relax. Time to celebrate. The Pistons are to the second round in forever.
  11. I was thinking that Sunday was going to suck because the Pistons were going to be out.
  12. The Magic went about 45 mins in real time between buckets in the second half. How is that even possible? With Detroit defense it is.
  13. As Rick Mahorn said, "This was freakin' awesome!"
  14. The way the offense is playing, they will challenged to score 22 in each quarter of the second half.
  15. The Pistons wanted to stick with what they had at the trade deadline to see what they have. I doubt they are happy with the answer. This is what the front office wanted.
  16. Now its only two games. How many times did the Pistons win back-to-back games this season? Do it again. 🙂 Let's have Pistons' fan fun weekend.
  17. Listening to the game. Hard to post during a Pistons game off a radio broadcast.
  18. Today is that day that all of us (even if we don't want to admit it) go in our heads, "Well, if they win the home games, game six is the only huge hurdle." 🙂 Why does my mind do this every single time when this scenario comes up? The Pistons have won three straight games how many times this season? Plenty. The playoffs are a different monster though. But Orlando is without a big piece for at least tonight (probably). Any team can suddenly hit 45% from behind the arc - even the Pistons. It all starts with one game, and probably one quarter. The Pistons can't be down 8 to 12 points anytime quickly in this game. Mentally, that would be a tough pill to swallow, even for pros.
  19. He's never really gotten the turnover bug out of his game, ever. And it's not only showing in this playoff series, but his turnover average in the postseason last year also looked like an assists-per-a-game average during the postseason against the Knicks last year as well. He's averaging 5 to 6 turnovers for his NBA playoff career right now. The team around him doesn't help him offensively, but a lot of that is on him.
  20. The only way it could've worked at a reasonable level is if the team actually had an outside threat to go with Duren's presence inside. But the Pistons refused to make any sort of legit move to do that in the offseason. And when Beasley had his issues and it was apparent he wasn't going to be around, I guess they thought Duncan Robinson would be all the team needed. Hmmmm.... I really thought even if it meant rocking the squad a bit, but they didn't. At that time I just figured I'd enjoy the rest of the regular season and hope I was worrying about nothing. But, gosh, even through the successful regular season, we saw games that just proved how this was going to be a mighty tough task once the playoffs began.
  21. Sasser would be playing if he was anything, but it can be argued he's no worse than the team's second-best shooter from three. Exactly, what do you have to lose? Maybe he pops in three in four shots during a 12-2 run sometime in the early second quarter if you throw him in there. If he misses three straight shots and turns the ball over a couple of times instead, so? We've seen that anyway.
  22. Right now, you have to play him at least a few rotations. What do you have to lose? The Pistons have lost with everyone else.
