Motor City Sonics Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago MLB (Expansion or Relocation of Rays or White Sox) 1. Nashville (Shoo-in) 2. Salt Lake City 2b. Portland 4. Charlotte 5. Montreal 6. Vancouver That's about it. I really don't see Sacarmento getting a team - no way the Astros and Rangers let San Antonio in. Philly, the Yankees, Mets and even Red Sox would balk at Northern New Jersey and as much as I think Indianapolis would be a great spot for a team, the Cardinals, Reds, and Cubs would throw hissy fits. Though the White Sox moving there could be a different dynamic. (I don't think MLB would let the White Sox leave, they'd do everything to stop it). NBA 1. Seattle What are we waiting for? They should have never lost the Sonics 2. Las Vegas - the shine of Sin City is starting to dull a lot, and not just for sports 3. Vancouver - A lot of folks think they got a raw deal last time 4. Cincinnati (Indiana and Kentucky are basketball-crazy, this sits right between 'em 5. St. Louis - Could the Spirits of St. Louis finall be a real thing? 6. Pittsburgh - And yes, they should be named the Pittsburgh Pisces like in that movie 7. Virginia Beach - only because I see them on NBA expansion lists often 8. Louisville - But I really don't believe that NHL 1. Quebec City yeah, only 610,000 population, but it's Canada. They'd sell 12,000 season tickets 2. Houston 3. MIlwaukee - Shocked they don't already have a team 4. Kansas City - almost got the Islanders 5. Hamilton - the Sabres and Leafs would throw tantrums, though it would be a great market. 6. Atlanta - A third try? Prolly not NFL 1. Toronto. Let's go international. The city can have a CFL and NFL team. 2. Portland 3. San Antionio 4. St. Louis - a third try? Why not? 5. Oklahoma City As cool as it would be to have a team in London, I don't know how that works with the time differences. Football really doesn't need to expand and it would probably works in just about any city. Albuquerque? Birmingham? Sure, it works - there's only 8 or 9 home games a year MLS (I don't know much about the league) 1. Monterray or Mexico City - Every game would be a sellout, but that Mexico City elevation would be a big problem. 2. Detroit - It's about time. If DCFC Takes off in their new digs...it might happen 3. Las Vegas 4. New Orleans Quote
