From what I heard the ESPN reporter say happened as he observed it.

There was a backup from an accident.  He went around that to get to the front of the gate.  They are in marked cars identifying them as players.  He drove past a cop car and a cop jumped on the car and then he stopped the car after about 10 yards  Then the cop dragged him out.

I don't think he's acting entitled.  He's a participant in the event so it's natural to assume they are given instructions to safely go around any backups and go to the front of the line to be let in whereever they need to go. The cop could have easily figured this all out instead of being dramatic.

Yeah that makes more sense. I mean why jump on the car?

my quote was about the video of the girl trying to get ice cream.

Sorry, I clicked the wrong post. I was trying to ask about this. He was charged with assault on a police officer?

that was everywhere yesterday.  I shared it as a story and it kept showing up from a ton of other sites too....

I wonder what the story behind it is.

    I love it.

I guess I am confused. What was the 2nd degree assault charge was for?

This is similar to when I what I read on automative sites everyone is like don't buy new buy used. Then the automaker will discontinue a car they really liked due to poor sales and is like why did they get rid of that car I really like?

This is more related to the fact that auto loans are front loaded with interest. The first two years you pay double the interest rate as the back end of loan. They assume most dumb american will trade it in around year 4-5. Also once you drive a new vehicle off the lot the kelly blue book value drops 10% combine that with the intrest you pay 20-30% more than the value of the new car. You buy that same car with 15K miles fresh of a lease you will pay 20-30% less along with cheaper sales tax. Plus you lose no value in the factory warranty.

  6. Not sure how showing a little respect to a Vet attending a sporting event (Chas's example) turned into invading Iraq. So when the frail old Vietnam Vet stands to be recognized at an event be sure to turn your back or better yet spit on them. I say spit because when my Dad flew back in 69 he was met by "protesters" who spit on him and called him a baby killer. Helluva welcome home party!

I guess thats what makes America great we can defend our opinions or disagree with others and still respect each other. My kid wants to join the Marines when he turns 18 that will make him the 5th generation of our family to be potentially sent to a war zone. No one in my family has graduated college (Daughter is college Jr so almost there!) or paid their homes off before they died. White lower middle class and dang proud!

So don't tell me I don't earn my freedoms, because I'm paying big money for them. Not everybody has to pick up a weapon and stand a post to do their part.

Keep on freedom fighting! When you see that homeless vet in big shoulders make sure you raise your nose a little higher than usual mmm k?

And this after I offered to stop here. Serves me right, I guess. *sigh*

    OK, here goes:

The working class poor did not give me my free speech. And neither did you. And I don't feel guilty for exercising it. But hey, you and your brethren are welcome for the hundreds of thousands of my tax dollars that funded your experience.

Now can we stop? Or do we need to keep going?

Nope your ignorance and arrogance are on full display.

I've been living in this country, especially since 2001, so I think I do have more than a clue. But I'll stop here if you want.

I mean, you clearly are always the smartest guy in the room ( I can only imagine what that feels like). Enjoy your free speech! You did not earn it but the working class poor gave it to you.

Well, the Trump police state will come and get me for this when it's time, I guess.

I am not talking about Trump. Please do not drag service members through the mud. You have no clue what you are talking about, like ZERO.

They did get an education—in the militarization of America society over the past two decades, and the normalization of our kids going overseas to become warriors in distant lands populated by people not like them who don’t want them there, and then they are praised when they get back and feted at places like every single ballgame you go to.

No wonder Americans thinks of soldiers as benevolent gods on Earth appointed to protect them by raining death and hellfire on people they hate. That’s what they want here, because that’s what they’ve been trained to want here.

Pretty much the most disrepectful thing I have ever seen you post.
