  1. Sure took long enough to get this out of him
  2. Not yet. Lake got a bit closer over night from election day vote finally counted but the remaining vote favors Hobbs.
  3. Speaking of Dominic West. I see that he is in the BBC series "Rogue Heroes" which is about the formation of the Special Air Service in WWII. I watched the first episode last night. It was good. Historical. I listened to the UK "We have ways of making you talk" podcast about this and appears they approve of it on the whole although the use of swearwords is definitely a nod to modernism. The show has a cool AC/DC infused soundtrack.
  4. Yeah, the B1G commissioner's kid plays for the Spartans.
  5. COMPETE CONCUR. This is the best Star Wars content that exists. It is superior to most other TV that exists. Stellan Skarsgard and Andy Serkis speaches in episode 10 were both all-time Emmy bait worthy of the stuff of Gregory Peck and David Niven in the "Guns of Navarone."
  6. This is shocking. i guess Foxnews is going with someone else.
  7. Its proof of the political power of the issue.
  8. Yep...there are a lot of people who think the thought police are after them. And, maybe they are. The kids are better at this stuff. Although, i've seen a bit of kids using 'racism' as a jokehammer on each other. "You won't let me have the other reeses peanut butter cup? What are you racist? "
  9. My attitude toward these things has really shifted since I run a girl's sports program in my city. The minefields are all over the place and the kids have internalized these things better than the adults. If I can run this successfully until my daughter ages out without making a huge gender dynamics mistake I'll be happy.
  10. We definitely don't. What we do have is a bunch of brush cut dudes who bitch about anything and everything that seems to nudge in the direction of that.
  11. Not in corporate or government offices much?
  12. Concur
  13. sorry man..that was my lame attempt at comedy. I'd already forgotten because I had a short memory...
  14. Sorry, what were we talking about?
  15. This ad got a fist pump from me
  16. It was interesting.
  17. Loyalty to the man...was more important than the policy choices. The policy choices were all just red meat.
  18. At one time, GOP had a sober grown up faction. W Bush and Mitt Romney were part of that. You might have had policy arguments against that and I could respect that. 9/11 and the GWOT became a patriotism hammer for lazy pols. Fox and other Conservative media used that hammer against all dems Citizens United gave the plutocrats way too much power The digital economy gave plutocrats way too much money Putin got himself a bunch of influence agents by giving the NRA, etc. a lot of money The NRA pushed an extreme agenda and had to keep pushing that to avoid being called squishes by more extreme elements. The confluence of all the above put Trump, a super clown who appealed to the wrestling and meat head PED snakeoil crowd as the head of the GOP when many decent alternates existed (although not/not Ted MF Cruz). Trump was dangerously inept. Could not identify the nuclear triad. Maybe it was best he could not Trump followed the torch-lit mob and would not correct the mob's excesses. He was way too into the TV spectacle. I still think Hillary Clinton was and is a terrible candidate and I bet Obama didn't trust her as far as he could toss her. I won't vote for ANY GOP candidate who fails to repudiate Trump. That goes all the way down to dog catcher. I am reevaluating a lot of my previous world views. I still believe in collective security, free trade and the rule of law. I can see clearly how the post-2015 GOP doesn't. They only believe in power for themselves and their plutocrat friends like Putin and the Shaykhs.
  19. If they can mercilessly cut such a key contributor, what hell awaits Matt Shepherd?
  20. There need to be more purple districts. That should be how all districts are.
  21. True. The entire work serves people who want to control information
  22. And Sullivan is the "squish" in the US National Security apparatus.
  23. Plus Mark Kelly was actually in combat. His weapon of choice was his A6 Intruder. Meanwhile, Blake Masters is a creature of sicko Peter Thiel
  24. The latter would be what I'd hope occurs. The CEO should have known that eliminating the checks and balances against fraud wholesale on a public facing system would result in these shenanigans and he is therefore responsible for the damages to any corporation or person that resulted.
