That is really well stated. I was never Libertarian but I ran in the conservative side of the aisle so you'd see them as fellow travelers. But, like the fellow travelers of the Left, some of these jokers be nuts. The crazy thing is how you see these bumper stickers on cars in some of the parking lots around DC where say...the IRS or the NSA or other organizations employ these people. Cognitive dissonance.

Its the irrational that is worrying in this situation. If Putin is doing this because of some sense of terminal urgency it may be very ugly. He doesn't want a proxy war where the West has a huge open border to supply weapons and INT to a motivated Ukrainian population, perhaps where Poland and Romania also supply well-equipped troops.
