  1. Look, I know Biden and the Democrats don't need to spend a bunch of money right now now, but when they do I want a campaign that really goes after Trump and reminds this country of what an evil con he is. Show the ugliest moments (can't show them all, that would take years). People need to be reminded of what he is and to stop falling for this idea that your life isn't perfect under Biden, so that means Trump is better. He's not. If Biden was younger I think it'd be a cake walk, but I am very worried...........they are going to keep hammering home the old thing (even though he's only 3 years older than Trump) and it's going to work because Biden is not an animated guy and yes, he does move slowly (as will all of us at that age). Trump has more "senior moments" than Biden, but it doesn't get covered that way. I don't want exciting, I want competence and I want humility. Just do the damn job and don't do a bunch of victory laps, but that thing that I like is hurting Biden. He needs to brag about his accomplishments more In our hip hop/reality tv world, humility doesn't play, it's all about who shouts or brags the most. Plus its all about celebrity worship. Trump won his party in 2016 because he was already famous. Biden won in 2020 because he was already known. Charles Pugh won the most votes for Detroit city council because he was on TV, he was pre-famous. Martha Reeves won because of that too. Didn't end well for either one of them. If an Oprah or an actor or athlete ran as a Democrat in 2020, they'd have won the nomination. It's intellectually lazy, which is where we are and it's only going to get worse as people rely more and more on their cellphones and tweets to learn anything, from sources that have no more credibility than the nut screaming at traffic that every town has.
  2. On this, I won't give any praise to that parasite Trump, but I think it is unfair to compare anything 2020 to anything else post 1918 flu pandemic, but comparing to before the pandemic, Biden is doing well, I think he's doing QUIETLY very well, but here's the problem..... Most people don't give a **** about the stock market, unemployment rate, GDP growth. They care about how much they can buy with their dollar right now. That's it. That's all that matters and even though there has been inflation WORLDWIDE at higher rates than in our country, it's Biden's fautlt Gas prices are down, but all people will remember is when they were high 3 years ago, it was Biden's fault (you've seen the stickers), The fact that their ****ing cereal box is smaller is Biden's fault. That's it. That's what we're up against. That, and the long-simmering bigotry that that orange assface helped bring to a boil. Don't underestimate the stupidity of the average citizen (and not just in America). Remember, we now live in a country, where the vocal majority believes that science and research are bad and reading makes you an elitist snob. We live in an Idiocracy. Mike Judge is a visionary If it hadn't been for the Supreme Court overturning Roe Vs. Wade, we'd be under total Republican control. That's the issue that's ****ing saving us right now. Thank you to the Supreme Court for your horrible decision, you woke some people up. But the worst of all of it, is half the people still sit this **** out. **** them. They don't deserve to live here. Don't like the two parties? Write yourself in. That goes for Colin Kaepernick too, **** you Colin. You bitch about the way things are and then you sit out voting? No one said you had to vote for Trump or Hillary. You can always vote for more local races and local issues. People that do that and then don't take part can go **** off. They are a big part of the problem.
  3. How many formerly "normal" Republicans secretly wish he'd just croak?
  4. Wait, no game today? What, this team is sooooo goooood that they don't need to play. When they start another season 8-25, circle back to this day. Season's already over. When do the Panthers start playing?
  5. The Armorer from the "Rust" movie was found guilty of Involuntary Manslaughter I ask this again..........why is there any need to have a real gun on a movie set?
  6. Has Nikki's spine turned into a Slinky yet?
  7. All they need to do is win this one and that'll be it for elections.
  8. Well those were the big 3 we were excited about in 2021, and it seems like the whole obligatory injury thing that all young pitchers go through is over. Manning, though, not an arm injury. When's that coming? Feels like a rite of passage at this point.
  9. He could be working out kinks with a new swing and it could resolve itself early in the year. Just give me close to career average, that's all I want from now. Talk about lowering standards. He's got more of a supporting cast now too. I don't know if any contract will ever be worse than Jordan Zimmermann, but this is up there (so far).
  10. I know it's just Spring Training and that doesn't signify much, just ask Hall Of Famer Mike Laga, but if Javy continues this incredible funk he's in - lets say until the end of May - do they just give up and cut him loose? I think what might prevent that is nobody at SS really pushing him unless Kreidler starts turning heads. I don't know, he is starting to feel like a lost cause and why tie yourself to that? But yes, it's only Spring Training.
  11. He was only 5 foot 3 but girls could not resist his stare, Pablo Picasso was never called an a**hole.
  12. Carpy can't improve his defense? I don't agree with that. I think it did improve during the season last year
  13. He doesn't need to be a mentor. Let the coaches do that. A lot of rookies just need to sit for a year. We've had a lot of QB busts in the last decade that seems to go along with this philosophy that if you draft a QB in the Top 10 or Top 20 they must play right away. I think some of those busts could have had a more successful career if they had time to adjust to the size and speed of the NFL. C.J. Stroud is a unicorn. I think that's why it was smart for the Lions to take a QB they had no intention of playing right away. Russ is a jackass, but I don't think he suddenly forgot how to play football. He got complacent. He owes more to Pete Carroll than he'd ever admit. I still think, in the right system, he's an upgrade over about 1/4 of the league's starters. Brett Favre didn't mentor Aaron Rodgers and Rodgers didn't mentor Jordan Love. The Dangerwich isn't even spicy, too. Asshole.
  14. It would be incredibly smart for a team who is drafting a rookie QB this year, to sign Russ to a one-year deal and let that rookie watch and learn some things and not throw them to the wolves like Carolina did. Not ready to say Bryce Young is a bust. If guys like Bryce Young and Zack Wilson were allowed to soak things in they might have had a better run.
  15. Sorry, but if Warde doesn't fire Howard than they both MUST go. Having to be physically restrained from attacking a trainer. That sound normal to you? Seems like the post-Wisco suspension and a heart scare didn't teach him a damn thing. He can't control his temper. He's a total embarrassment. Know when to cut 'em loose. We've seen too many times when the writing was on the wall (Patricia's pointless third year, Brandon Staley coming back to the Chargers last year). Cut and run. Ain't workin' and it ain't gonna work and he just makes the university look like a joke, and that's not even talking about the record (8-22 now?).
  16. Well, I would say that clinging onto someone from that era hasn't sent the message that they get it. Next head coach must have head coaching experience. And I am still kind of shocked that as of Sunday at 10:45am Howard is still employed.
  17. Should have never hired a guy with no head coaching experience anywhere at any level. This isn't the level where you learn on the job.
  18. If Ono has to step in, then Warde has to go. This ain't the only bullet in the chamber for Warde either. Scandal after scandal after scandal across multiple sports (How many AD's let athletes drive their wives cars, much less crash them?). And Michigan (and other schools) need to institute a policy - if you're head coach, you can't put your kids on the team. Well, at least Michigan needs to do that. Can't be objective when it's your kids, especially when you have the maturity of a 15 year old like Juwan Howard. Dude is coming off of heart surgery having to be restrained from physically going after the head trainer for "disrespecting" his son (ain't his kids' only incidents, by the way). Want respect? Then give it. What kind of clown show is this? It really has nothing to do with the record. He's gotta go. Today.
  19. Well, after reading about the incident with the trainers it has become abundantly clear. Both Warde Manuel and Juwan Howard need to go. Today. Juwan can take his entitled brats with him too. We all know that he should have been fired the night of the Wisconsin fight. He's a total disgrace. And Warde is too. Jim's gone, no need for him anymore. Ono - Do your job.
  20. Siblings in bands At a family get-together to celebrate Dave Davies 50th birthday in 1997, Ray Davies got so pissed off about not getting all the attention that he jumped up on a table and stamped all over the birthday cake and he wasn't even drunk. Ray Davies is so damned stubborn that a guy shot him and it still didn't kill him.
  21. Because Noel won't take his calls. "I liked my mum fine until she gave birth to Liam" - Noel Gallagher, 2019
  22. If you liked Oasis or Brit Pop in general, this new Liam Gallagher & John Squire album is fantastic
