  1. You can sign up for their app and have the app linked to your Fire Stick (or whatever you use) and I did that for a little while last year, but there were a tonne of problems trying to get the password to work. Just made me angry. I am guessing that if you sign up online you should be able to log in through a device, but if you can't, it might be an indication of why they failed.
  2. I understand that around the league they have the cushion day (and it looks like a lot of severe storms in the middle 3rd of the country. I also know that it would suck to see everyone start today and then we don't until tomorrow, so that is how it works since it HAS to be a 3-game series. Couldn't be a 4-game series with a 2-game trip later in the year? The least of the issues I have with Rob Manfred. The league is close to perfection on the starting locations for March, only having two northern games in Boston and New York. High of 41 in Boston (while it will be 52 in their opponents home town of Baltimore). Yankees playing the Giants. 46 in NYC today, while it's 54 in SF. I don't get that whole playing northern games in March thing. Although it will probably feel colder in SF with that wind.
  3. Just in a place where they have a bunch of arms healing or a year or two away..........Hopefully they can get by. I sure hope their new training staff/approach is better.
  4. I signed up for the monthly version this morning. I sure hope the app is kinder to me than it was last year because I had tonnes of issues having it work with my Amazon Fire Stick. It was extremely frustrating and I quit mid-season. I should be able to at least watch on my computer and I can always take my laptop and plug it into the telly.
  5. 2019 too. That team may have been worse than 2003. On baseball reference the Pythagorean W/L for both teams was 49-113, the 2003 Tigers had a RF/RA of 591/928 and 2019 Tigers were 582/915. It's a toss-up. Has any other fanbases had two teams that miserable in one generation?
  6. Why do they need tomorrow off. They're playing in a dome !
  7. 74-88. They can't have that incredible run of bad luck from 2022, can they? It's like all the misfortune that struck Mr. Burns' softball team, forcing Homer Simpson to play. Who is our Homer? Kerry Carpenter?
  8. You know what? As someone who once really enjoyed a Cuban sandwich, you can't even joke about that pig Fidel Castro. Shame on you.
  9. I agree. The Reds throwing the first pitch around 12:55 on a Monday is the best.
  10. This game is realistic. Jackson Jobe just came back from his injury. Gage Workman has 32 home runs at Erie. I bumped him up to Toledo. If I can clear out Javy next year, could he be the guy? The next season will probably start by the weekend.
  11. The parking lots are beautiful. We must all admire the parking lots.
  12. My OOTP Tigers have taken a nosedive in August and now sit at 52-65. I did make some trades to free up salary space in the coming offseason. That's a .444 Pct, which would be about a 72-90 season, which is about where most people would slot the real Tigers. Tork has 19 Home Runs. Riley Greene is having a terrible season and the BA leader is Akil Baddoo at .284, he is 12th in the AL in Stolen Bases with 17 (batting mostly 9th, I tried leading him off and he floundered). On the pitching side. I traded for Andre Pallante (for Michael Lorenzen, surprised me too) and he's 2-1 with a 3.07 ERA as a Tiger. Tarik Skubal came back after the All Star game and is 0-3 with a 5.49 ERA with a WHiP of 1.27. Can't wait for free agent season !
  13. I think it sucks that the Reds don't kick off Opening Day anymore. Reds open the season at home and the game's at 4? It should be at 12:55.
  14. We meant to talk to you about this. We were going to gather in a room virtually to talk about your drinking. You are talking about blacked out like it's something routine and that's a sign that you need help. We wanted to offer you an opportunity to speak to someone with experience. Jeff VanVonderen is on the line. Will you take this help?
  15. Just think............48 hours from now we'll be watching Matt Vierling make an instant impact with 3 hits, including a Home Run and E-Rod, Jason Foley, Mason Englert and Alex Lange combine to 6-hit the Rays in a 5-2 Tigers Opening Day victory !
  16. McKinstry will fill the role of the Castros this year. He'll probably play 6 different positions. Let's just hope that minor league patience returns.
  17. But, in limited and inconsistent reps. That does factor in. A guy trying to claw his way into the lineup will often lose a little patience. He probably won't play a ton here, unless they are cutting Schoop loose. AJ works everyone into the lineup, but maybe not early in the year.
  18. Nate was 6 for 44 in his career..........so about the same as Pache.
  19. nothing else to talk about, kind of boring around here
  20. Only if Al was still here.
  21. Who was the last Tiger hitter to regularly wear glasses? Johnny Grubb?
  22. Ah, a got guy on the other line about some whitewalls.
  23. Lots of guys struggle at first............take Ryan over there............
