  1. They were talking about who is the Lions most tradable commodity today on Doug & Scott on the Ticket. TJ Hockenson's name came up as one of the most tradable commodities we have. If someone was willing to give you either a 2nd round pick or if not that, a 3rd round pick, at the trade deadline for TJ Hockenson would you make either trade?
  2. We're the Commanders at that point if we draft Will Anderson. A loaded defensive line and an overpaid guy at QB with a few nice weapons around him. In the Commanders case they have Wentz and we'd be stuck with Goff.
  3. After ragging on Stafford for the last 3-4 years he was here, only to have him prove me wrong the first year he left Detroit, I really wanted to give Goff a chance. But Goff looks lost and completely out of it in game. He played like the bum the last two weeks in a row and showed all of his worst traits from fumbling to throwing the ball in coverage and getting picked to refusing to step up in the pocket and taking a sack as a result. Goff has showed us enough that I think it is becoming safe to feel like he isn't the answer for us long term at QB. I don't think we can afford to pass up on a potential franchise QB in a league dominated by offensive production. If we do, and draft Will Anderson instead, then I worry we'll be the Washington Commanders 2.0. That is a team with a stacked defensive line and a bum at QB, always searching for his replacement.
  4. I thought this exact same thing. You're seeing Trafalgar, Cygnal, Rasmussen (to an extent) and other various right-leaning pollsters flood the market with polls showing GOP closing in or pulling ahead in all sorts of races. You have to wonder if it is a purposeful tactic on the part of GOP and right-leaning pollsters to change the media narrative and sway things back towards the GOP. It almost seems like a coordinated political strategy and knowing how the right and GOP operates in this country, I wouldn't doubt that it is.
  5. Please be accurate! These new numbers from two different Morning Consult polls are encouraging. Difference with these two polls and a lot of the other ones out there is the huge sample size. Now, if their sampling and modeling methods are off it won't matter if they surveyed 7, 700 or 7,000 people, that will skew the polling data. But still, you like to see these numbers if you are a Democrat with early voting starting and the election being in the home stretch. Poll #1: Generic Congressional Ballot: Dems +3 with 7,800 likely voters polled Poll #2: Generic Congressional Ballot: Dems +2 with 7,947 likely voters polled
  6. The Bears are about to be 3-4. Things are looking worse and worse for Campbell as everyone around him keeps winning and he keeps losing.
  7. We got nothing yet again from 3rd round picks Ifate Melifonwu and Alim McNeill yesterday. I don't believe Melifonwu even played. Alim McNeill has 8 tackles on the year, 0 sacks, and a PFF grade of 62. I can't recall a single game where I saw McNeill being a difference maker when he was in this year. At this rate, through 6 games, he's on pace for around 21-22 tackles, which is less than last year.
  8. In God We Don't Truss!
  9. FIH-NUH-LEEEEY THEY R GONNA GET HUNTER BIDEN AND THE BIDEN CRIME FAMILY!!!
  10. I don't think we've had a rock solid starting LB here since DeAndre Levy was here. JOK would look real good in a Lions uniform. Ah well!
  11. It's not just the decision not to challenge the Brock Wright play. It's all the other coaching mishaps and questionable decisions that have lead up to this point. Unfortunately, Dan Campbell is starting to lose benefit of the doubt as a coach.
  12. I think that was a challenge worthy call, even if they would have lost it. I wouldn't have criticized Campbell for challenging and losing.
  13. So I think we've got enough tape on the guy to start this conversation on its own. I created this thread to discuss Jared Goff and the Lions QB situation. I also created it to ask this question; Do you believe that Jared Goff should be the QB long term for the Lions? If not, who do you want to replace Goff?
  14. Caldwell was the same way. Look how we got jobbed in the Atlanta game with the 10 second runoff or the Seattle game with the batted ball. What did Caldwell do in response to any of that, he stood there on the sidelines with a blank, bewildered stair on his face. Campbell is the same way. He's never in the refs ear and barking up a tree. Not challenging the Brock Wright play was absolutely the wrong decision.
  15. I can't wait to draft Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, Hendon Hooker, Will Levis, or whoever. Goff looks awful. His offensive line has played reasonably well for him, tried giving him time, and Goff is just lost out there. This offense hasn't scored a touchdown in 8 straight quarters. So much for being the strength of the team.
  16. The guy adds no value to this defense. I can't believe this regime thought he'd be the answer at LB.
  17. What do we have to feel confident about at this point?
  18. Lol what? 3&7 and they just gave up on the drive with a draw play.
  19. Yikes!!!!! Almost turned that one over.
  20. Nice first defensive drive getting the stop early.
  21. If there's been any franchise that can make QBs shine it's the Lions.
