After the lions win on Saturday there were 12 events that needed to happen for the the lions to miss the playoffs. Rams win out, Seahawks win out, Vikings beat the packers and lions lose out. Great decision to elevate Hendon to the active roster. If Goff goes down you got options. Patterson wasn’t a legit NFL kicker. The lions keeping him as long as they did was odd. They didn’t trust him outside 40 yards and he started to struggle with extra points. They have struggled with kickers for 3 years.

Lions control their own destiny for the 2 seed.

I really don’t like Seattle. Of all the teams outside the north they are the ones I dislike the most.

Every team defends it the same way. Why aren’t they pushing back? Look at Bobby Wagner, he has jumped the pile every time. You are never going to stop it by leaving your feet. The LBs have to push the DL to meet the point of contact at the line. No one has done that. Is it illegal for the LBs to push the DL? LBs jumping the pile will never work.

I lost my first round matchup. I’ve been riding the coattails of Keenan Allen and Tyreek hill all year. Both out this week.

What was Pete Carroll doing? Calls a timeout on 4th and 2 allowing the eagles plenty of time to challenge the 3rd down play, which turned out to be a sack. Seahawks lose the timeout and have to kick the field goal. 17-13 in the 4th, Seattle down to one timeout.

I’m begrudgingly rooting for the eagles. Let’s clinch a playoff berth and go from there.
