  1. Hutchinson man. Can’t tackle. Not breaking up passes. He is also in a large funk. He is just getting beat. Lions also take a personal foul on the late hit. Bears in the red zone. That’s an automatic touchdown.
  2. Holding penalty. Against the lions of course lol. It’s remarkable just how bad this defense is. I can’t even comprehend it. It’s just funny. Bears are marching and about to punch it in again.
  3. This team is mentally broken on defense. They know in their head they won’t get a stop. And because of it they get steamrolled.
  4. 3rd and 8, pinned deep into your territory, chance to get off the field and the Lions go full lions and Fields rushes for 20 yards lol. This team can’t tackle. This team sucks man.
  5. If the bears drive 92 yards for a TD I’d start placing your bets on the packers to win the division.
  6. That’s one they have been calling all year across the league.
  7. lol and sacked on 3rd down. A lions staple. This one is already over. They have been bad for so long, why are we expecting this to change?
  8. Tripping penalty on the offense. Now way behind the sticks. Miserable start to this game.
  9. The odds are more likely the lions will finish 9-8 than for them to get to 10 wins. They have gotten worse 7 straight weeks and have made zero adjustments on defense. They just keep doing the same exact thing. And then Glenn is scoffing in press conferences telling us how good the defense is.
  10. Bears didn’t score a TD their last game.
  11. Saints 4 for 4 last week. Bears 1 for 1 this week. And you’re telling me Aaron Glenn isn’t a problem. This is ****ing embarrassing at every level. The coaching of this defense is not professional.
  12. First red zone opportunity. Saints we’re 4 for 4 last week.
  13. Getting an absolutely ran over. Barnes with horrible contain.
  14. Lol why would anyone of expected this defense to be better? Getting gashed with the run. They have to tighten up right now.
  15. Anzalone misses any easy tackle to set up for 3rd and short instead of 3rd and long and the bears easily convert. Lions lose contain and give up a huge run. New week, same issues.
  16. Bears start with good field position.
  17. I recommend winning. Not sure I feel they will though. Defense has got to tighten up. AGs presser this week didn’t really inspire though. He basically scoffed at making adjustments.
  18. Lions collapse at the end. I had tried to erase that. Got ran all over in the middle of a snow storm.
  19. Well that’s not good news on Alim. Really bad actually.
  20. I’m pretty sure since I’ve been a lions fan the lions have never had a coordinator hired away to be a head coach. Go one about how good the coordinators are though.
  21. People don’t go to the internet for positivity. The irony, I’m a pretty positive person. I allow myself to be emotional over football. We need to look at this globally. Go look at Reddit or other forums, specific to the lions. People getting voted down to hell for saying there is too much negativity. In person I only point out the positive. Here, There is 3 hours to let loose and then get back to it. For instance, I pointed out the defensive stats last week and key areas they needed to improve. One of them was red zone td percentage. Lions were 3rd to last in the league. Saints came in as one of the worst red zone offenses and then went 4 for 4 after a game going 0 for 5. The lions are allowing teams to convert 73% of their red zone trips to touchdowns, and it’s gotten progressively worse. There is room for concern and the nuance is best left for middle of the week. It’s obvious why there is angst, the lions are off to a historic start and have a legit shot a home playoff game. The lions have lost 2 of their 3 games at home and were lucky not to lose to the bears. They have been worse defensively at home and haven’t shown improvement since the bye. People don’t want to see the lions win the division and then have the same issues pop up, fans want to see improvement. They get upset week to week seeing the same problems. The red zone defense being of primary concern, even more than the turnovers for me. I don’t believe they can play at this level of defense and then magically fix it during the playoff game. Lions are basically ranking out in bottom 3rd of every defensive category and in the last half of games they are near the bottom in every category. They still run base and nickel, rarely dime and don’t blitz more than middle of the pack, and usually with linebackers who can’t get home. On to Chicago.
  22. As an aside anyone who uses an ignore function on a sports message board is soft af.
  23. I go to two games a year living in BFE nowhere Minnesota. Pay for Sunday ticket, by their merch. Watched every game for 25 years. If that ain’t showing it what’s your definition, saying nice things on a message board? People can say whatever they want. This team is teetering on a defensive implosion. Everyone recognizes they are good, but they also recognize if things don’t change they will give up 50 in their lone home playoff game.
