I don’t think this trades tips the hand on the pick at all. And all reports have the pistons not taking Murray.
And I’m ok signing Ayton if they decide to do that. Just don’t sign two guys.
This move will be judged on what he does next. It seems obvious to maximize cap space for 23 and 24. If you spend it all now, then it’s all questionable. If you take on other teams bad contracts for their 1st round pick(s) then we are cooking.
Really hard to come back from an Achilles. Okudah has had a rough go of it since he was drafted by quinn. Really enjoyed watching this interview though. He has a good head on his shoulders and seems easy to root for (now, at least). Can only hope for the best hear, expectations are low. A big on known for the lions.
The offseason is over. Lions currently in an OTA, which concludes tomorrow. Lions will have mandatory minicamp June 5th - 7th. There will also be OTAs June 13th - 16th.
This year we get an extra treat with the lions be featured on Hardknocks. This is a tough season to predict, really interested in seeing the progress from last year.
Also saw reports that Taylor decker sat out OTAs with lingering injuries that were residual from the last game of the season. That is one OL who is expendable for this team.
personally. I think the back 7 is being underestimated. There is a lot of competition across the board right now. I would not be surprised if this is a top half defense in the league this season.
With Holmes, I don’t give a damn about draft position. I would much rather be in 9-8 than 6-11 with a better pick. It’s time to start winning games and being competitive.
Really? They never had a shot at playoffs by any measure. The games all meant the same, never once was there a chance at the playoffs with that roster.
I find it much more likely that grant is traded than not. Portland makes so much sense. They didn’t move up, dame wants grant and the blazers need to keep dame happy. Doesn’t seem like a stretch that the pistons have the 5th and 7th pick.
There is nothing ever good from being a sports fan. It’s always just losing. As much sports as I watch and I’ve witnessed one championship. Pistons in 04. Everyone is losers.
I knew you’d make a comment. That, I appreciate, even though it hurts. The leafs/lions sports fan is a tortured soul, I’m not alone.
But, now I can turn my attention to the lions. It’s football time.
