  1. Better get used to it. Probably the best defense they've played all year. This is going to be a fight all the way to the end
  2. LaPorta has been dropping some balls today. We need a kicker
  3. Goff has been a little shaky on this drive
  4. Some points out of this drive would be nice
  5. I had a feeling that's what it was. He was pointing to his ribs while on the ground. He could be out for a while
  6. There you go TP. A pass on 2nd down
  7. And.... Bagent throws a pick 😄
  8. Bagent looked pretty good on that last drive (TD). Bears fans will be mouth breathing over their shiny new QB if they pull out this win
  9. It is getting annoying listening to the endless excuses being made for these high picks. I'm still being patient, but players drafted in the 1st round are supposed to be starters. They're supposed to make your team better. Gibbs' impact has been marginal, Jaymo has been zero, Campbell seems more like a 2nd round pick than a 1st
  10. If the Bucs lose this game, then I think the Lions will win. And if the Lions do win, I'm predicting a Bucs loss. That's how I see it
  11. If I were making bold predictions, I'd say this year's splash move would be the Bears trading Justin Fields
  12. McCaffrey. I suppose Hock too
  13. I can see the appeal of a 'win now' spending spree, and it's hard to argue. For me, I never thought this was The Year to begin with. I wouldn't want to mortgage the future on a team that I still think has a ways to go. I'd love for Holmes to just stay the course, keep loading young talent pieces through the draft, keep building it up, and design this thing to dominate long term. We still need a superstud interior DT, a 2nd game wrecking DE, a shutdown corner... and that would only bring us even with the Eagles. And the Eagles are not the 49ers - that team is stacked
  14. I suppose this would all depend on whether you think this year is a 'win now' window, or if the Lions should just continue focusing on building for long term by holding onto their draft picks and using their cap money to retain their star players - rather than spending $$$
  15. The Lions would have a parade down Michigan Ave if they landed that guy. He'll likely cost more than just a 1st though (I'm pretty sure Denver won't give him up). Holmes seems to be a build thru the draft guy, and he's pretty good at it. I'd hate to see the Lions give up draft capital. Then again, it's not like Brad Holmes doesn't make big trades 😄 I wonder if Suh would come back on a 1 year deal
  16. I'm with you on that. Tampa is one of my least favorite teams - which has everything to do with them being a former division rival
