I don't really think Biden or anyone caused the vaccinations to get to 200 million or 5 million jobs added.  They have been promoting the vaccine so that may have helped but its the population trying to stay healthy from covid.  The jobs being added is a sign we are returning from the pandemic which the vaccine has helped.  Its not like anyone has created jobs.  There's still many job openings because fewer people want to work.

Wages increasing most likely has to do with a shortage of people willing to work.  Business has had to increase wages to try to get people off the couch where they have been collecting free money.

As for the market, who knows but I'm making good money so at this point I don't care!

This is the trolliest troll post maybe ever. 😂

I've only had jury duty one time and I was the first person excused after being called.  They didn't even ask me a question.  Must be because I'm a grumpy white man.

Both the prosecutors and the defenses have an image of who they want as a jury, and neither get exactly what they want.

I found the voir dire the most interesting of the processes.

Sometimes you’re the wrong sex, wrong age, wrong color.  And then sometimes, your profession is a problem/or/asset.

Often, as soon as I said I worked for a bank, any financial case I’d get tossed. Other times, when I answered that I was a business analyst… well, you don’t want anybody analyzing what happened… both prose and defense would stand and say “excused”. lol

you guys should watch some voir dire sometime and see what shows up.

it will give you a good idea of what america really is.

The times I’ve been on jury duty only strengthened my resolved to never pursue a life of crime… because no way in hell would I ever want to take a chance with my freedom in front of “a jury of my peers”. 🙄

People are scary.. and jurors , for the most part, don’t pay attention either during the trial or in deliberations. They also lie about having pre-conceived notions of innocence or guilt.

As I look over some of the candidates that I need to decide among for tomorrow’s election, I recall that many experts predicted that COVID was supposed to be over with after last year’s election.

I would guess that the supposition was that since there WAS the vaccine developed, people would…, you know…. take the damn thing.  Instead, whole pockets of this country decided that taking/not taking the shot was a test of your love for ‘Merica.

Who the f would have predicted that?? Stupidity reigns supreme.

  6. A whole lot of people should, indeed, to be walking the plank on this one. Tragic…. But more than that, negligence that may in fact be criminal for some involved.

That whole industry needs to stop being coddled when it comes to safety on the sets. The stars are usually protected somewhat, but the regular Joe’s who work on the sets etc. seem to be mere fodder. The powers that be couldn’t give a you-know-what about them.

  7. Got my booster today. Hoping I don’t have much a reaction to the shot, as I am covering at work both my hours tomorrow and someone else’s morning hours. That’ll be tough if I get some of the chills/aches that I got with my second shot, but I don’t think I will.  I’m not hearing people hurting after the booster.🤞🏼

I saw a meme that said "Did you know you can go to a bakery and buy a birthday cake when it's not your birthday and go home and eat it?  Nobody checks."

Saw that… and laughed like hell 😂

he liked trump and said some mean personal insults to people and eventually got banned from the old site.

If you don’t mind, I’m gonna just expand on that a bit. He was banned - and the trigger was pulled by the owner of the website, - ….who has run this for more than 20 years, (and we’ve had others who eventually were banned by moderators)

but in this member - Stan - finally came across someone who did not add any value to this forum.  Who was beyond deserving of being kicked to the curb.

So, your brief off the cuff description of Stan, headed by the blurb “he liked trump”, insinuating that was his sin…. that’s just aggravating.  And somewhat insulting.
