  1. I am mainly annoyed that when the media is reporting the story, they seem to want to concentrate on MTG and AOC.
AOC merely pointed out that MTG was out of order and that the comments should be stricken. MTG then elevated it to another nasty little round of comments….With the chick from the Bronx more or less letting her know that perhaps it might be a mistake to play with her. (🙂 that was amusing)

Yeah, the solidarity of the crazies isn't the endorsement that Trump thinks it might be.

Boebert & Gaetz have to be two Congress persons that have the biggest sleaze/ick factor of them all…. and to think the optics of those two sitting behind the defendant is going to play well with the jury, no matter what their political makeup, is the stupidest move imaginable.  How idiotic.

  3. Btw, when the F are the federales just going to cuff Bannon and take him to serve his jail time?

And if they can kick him in the keester a few times too, I’d appreciate it.

And rip off at least one of the three extra shirts he’s wearing.

    (I’ll add to this list)

Even if it is somewhat inflationary, increasing economic equity is simply more important to holding togeher the fraying social cohesion in the US than another 0.5% on the inflation rate.

From your mouth to the ears of (hopefully) most Americans. I’m probably delusional.

I would be stunned if Trump was found guilty.

    Absolutely stunned.

There is already precedence for this - John Edwards - who was found not guilty due to a hung jury/mistrial.

I expect this case to go exactly that way.

Not that Trump isn't guilty. He was first charged for a crime in 1973 - that was over 50 years ago - and he beat that charge and every charge since.

Well, Ronz, count me among the millions who would absolutely LOVE to see you stunned as all hell.  😁
Here’s hoping that the jury will be able to connect the dots that are very obviously there.

  6. I’m worried that because Alan Weisselberg won’t be called as a witness in this case (even if he’d get on the stand and lie), he’s probably the one needed to point to Trump and say “he knew this was how we were going to handle paying Stormy off, and re-paying Michael”.

Might make it easier for even one juror to say “you haven’t absolutely tied Donald to the business fraud as the controlling player”.
    Worrisome.

  7. My God, if Trump didn’t run his whole life and his whole business like a mob boss, we wouldn’t be here. If the 130 K had just been paid to stormy, even if it was in and out of that account that Cohen set up, everything would’ve been fine and legal. The fact that they tried to hide it, the way they and report it as a business expense when it was nothing of the sort, this is where the criminal illegality is, and is very very evident.
He’s guilty, and the cross-examining by the defense can hammer Michael Cohen, calling him “liar liar liar” for the next two days  - it does not matter.
Everything he’s said today as far as what he did for Trump and how these hush money payments were camouflaged as opposed to just an outright payment, is where this is going to be Trump’s downfall.

    He’s a criminal.

I'm pretty much MSNBC exclusively so it's probably just my own bubble. It's not like I'm a big fan or something. I just don't know how you avoided him.

… and, now, I know who it is.  I guess I honestly never made note of his name before.

It's already been reported that Barron's graduation is in the morning, then he flies to the benefit that afternoon.

I’m actually glad to know that Barron will be acknowledged.
