The Hill: Yet another Hunter ‘bombshell’ is a dud
I'll say what I have always said, if Joe Biden is provably implicated in business dealings with his son and tried to enrich himself in anyway I think he should be investigated and held to account to the fullest extent of the law. But I keep hearing and seeing things about Burisma, Devon Archer, etc. and have yet to see determinative and definitive evidence that Joe did anything wrong.
FLASHBACK, 2018: Joe Biden Brags At CFR Meeting About Withholding Aid To Ukraine To Force Firing Of Prosecutor
QuoteQuoteIn this clip from a January 2018 appearance at the Council on Foreign Relations, former Vice President Joe Biden seems to brag about threatening to withhold military aid to Ukraine as a pressure tactic to force the firing of a prosecutor he did not like.

So is that all there is left to do this season? discuss and argue over what deals could or should have been made at the deadline. Ugh depressing season.

Ukraine continues to launch attacks on Russia.
QuoteOleksiy Danilov, the head of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, when asked Monday about the Moscow strikes, said the conflict is “a war of symbols” and so “everything related to Moscow” is fair game.
Referring to Ukraine’s domestic drone production, he added: “We won’t be asking anyone how to use the weapons we produce in our country to destroy the aggressor where we see fit.”
If the Administration trotted out a State Department foreign policy wonk to discuss the topic, it's a pretty safe bet he/she would establish those talking points and wrap everything up in a nice, neat package. Unfortunately it's not that simple.
The Administration has kinda backed itself into a corner by giving/promising total and unconditional support to the Ukrainians. The concern is the emboldened Ukrainians have gotten to the point where they will do whatever they want relative to escalating the war, confident in their belief Biden will have to support whatever they do. And that's probably true considering the amount of money and material we've provided, think "too big to fail" at this point. If the Ukrainians keep upping the ante with disregard for the wishes of their primary benefactor, it could get ugly fast for the US and NATO. -

Ukrainian troops are abandoning US tactics in their counteroffensive because they haven't worked
NEVER ENDING WAR
QuoteBut the counteroffensive is making slow progress, with troops encountering heavily defended Russian positions,
Ukrainian units are now ditching plans to attack Russian positions head-on using complicated Western maneuver
QuoteQuoteWestern allies of Ukraine had pushed for the Ukrainian military to adopt more aggressive offensive tactics.
Some Western equipment is also proving ineffective. Insider previously reported that Western battle tanks and infantry fighting vehicles gifted to Ukraine were not able to get through the rows of Russian mines on the front lines

Ukraine is one of the most corrupt places on Earth. The US continues to send massive amounts of tax payer money non-audited.
QuoteUkraine’s anti-corruption watchdog said on Thursday that it detained an armed forces official accused of helping draft-age men flee the country in exchange for a cash payment, according to AFP.
Ukraine’s State Bureau of Investigation said in a statement that the official, who worked in the Kyiv city administration and headed a department in the army, had issued false documents declaring men unfit for military service.

Why is setting a high price for Eduardo's services a mistake?
No, but there should have been communication with E-rod to see what teams he would accept. Generally he has said he just wanted to stay on the East coast. Ultimately the Tigers should have taken the best of what they could get. Because he is going to walk at the end of the season.

The judge probably isn't going to matter much. Trump will probably have no defense just like the other cases he's been in.
Sure it does. It is probably going to end up in the Supreme Court.

No breakthrough yet in Ukraine’s counteroffensive
QuoteIf Ukraine’s supporters were hoping for a breakthrough after Kyiv’s forces made a new push in the southeast of the country last week, they were sorely disappointed.
QuoteThe latest attack, which saw Ukraine throw in thousands of Western-trained reinforcements to drive south from the town of Orikhiv, has not yet yielded significant results, U.S. Defense Department officials told NatSec Daily this week
QuoteEven when Ukrainian forces manage to clear a minefield and advance, Russia will use artillery and helicopters to drop more mines behind them, trying to trap units between minefields

Ungrateful Ukraine
Poland lashes out at Ukraine in gratitude spat
QuoteKyiv had summoned Warsaw’s envoy after a senior Polish official suggested Ukraine should be more grateful for the support it has been receiving from Poland since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion last year.
in recent months, its relations with Kyiv have been hurt by Warsaw’s decision to extend a ban on some Ukrainian agricultural exports, which the Polish government considers a threat to the interests of domestic farmers.
Given the enormity of the support Poland has given Ukraine, such mistakes should not happen,” the prime minister added.

A) no it doesn't
B) did anyone think he had east coast teams on his no-trade too?
C) maybe the east coast teams offered piddily
So many fans are making so many assumptions that paint Harris as nothing more than a complete baffoon.
The reason he did not accept the trade was he wanted to be on the East Coast. I have a very hard time believing a east coast time was not offering at least mid level prospects for E-rod.
I am not saying Harris is buffoon but he missed on this opportunity.
