I dont mind the current road uniforms, but would be thrilled to see them utilize the older styles as alternates on the road.
Unless I'm wrong, the Tigers and Yankees may be the only teams that seem to avoid alternate uniforms. I get it for the home unis, but the road design isn't iconic. Mix it up!

September, schedule wise, was supposed to be their hardest month. Yet they seem to be in line for over .500 this month.
Thats baseball for ya!

It sounds like 10 people at the game or is that the vendors? Certainly not a superspreader event.
Jack made a comment at one point in the broadcast that it reminded him of 2020 because of how much you could hear the dugouts bc lack of crowds

Figured I'd restart this staple.
I will be embarking on a listen of The Rolling Stones entire catalog soon. Any favorite albums from the group?
My personal favorite is Beggars Banquet. But I really haven't listened to many of their albums the entire way through tho.

To quote a (not so) great former Jerk Sox announcer: "Grab some bench"

Man, Victor with four hits!

Palehose remind me of the Tiger teams of a few years ago - all kinds of talent but a lot of sloppy play.
If they play like this in the playoffs, they're gonna get bounced pretty quickly.

Shep: "Bryan Garcia looking sharp"....
Like, didn't he see the two almost homers?

Would Will Vest be any worse than Garcia? Aye aye aye

One takeaway from this game so far?
The competition for the 2022 Tigers OF mix is on.... lol

They can't do anything about Cleveland ar this point in terms of head-to-head record, but the problems are similar with Chicago, KC and Minnesota.
It'd be nice to see them exorcise some of those demons down the stretch

at this point I care less about the record than the chance to catch Cleveland. Tied in the win column, 2 back in the loss column.
Yeah... Royals single-handedly put 2nd place back on the table today, didn't they?

I'm not sure if he is or not but personally if we can't get Correa or Seager than I'm not interested in signing any SS long term this year. Those are the two who I think will be stars going forward, the others will just be over payed guys with plenty of flaws. Not interested, so if we can't get those two I'd have no problem rolling the dice with current guys including Kriedler and see what we got.
I mostly agree with this, but also think a guy like Chris Taylor would be good to add if we don't go long term at SS

Another great result... loved seeing Alex Lange tonight. He should be in the mix next year

Big moment for Alex Lange here...

Uhh, break up Drew Hutchison?

Can't we just clone Schoop and have him play 2B and SS?
We really need Tork to make the team out of Spring Training. Just really tired of Willi butchering it out there

Not an Oregonian, but if I could live in Newport, I would lol

White Sox defense in playoff form, I tell ya... lol

Soto is big loss. if they hold to 500 the rest of the way I'd take that as a serious over-achievement.
Setting aside the concern going forward regarding the bullpen sans Soto, this upcoming stretch (at least on paper) should be easier than the last 9 games, where they went 6-3.
But this stretch is a good challenge for this club in that, while they continue to play good ball against teams outside of the division, they struggle within the division. You have four series against teams in division, including two with a Sox team that is playing less inspired ball than when they last saw them.
I'd like to see them win at least a couple of these series to close it out. They've shown they can take it to some of the best teams in baseball, I'd like to see them not play down to the division.

I've been stuck on 75 as a base line, but the base line is increasingly looking like 77 or 78.
It's really incredible. We just keep waiting for the shoe to drop for this team and it never really does.
