  1. I like how Lee has used the term “sabermetrically” twice in the last two days, which is sort of like saying “father” instead of “Dad.” I like it. It packs more punch.
  2. I always made the assumption that a guy who played first base in college was sort of a lumbering fellow without a lot of athleticism even if he could hit home runs in college. I assumed he was a one dimensional player, and apparently major-league pitchers have figured out his one dimension.
  3. Looks like we already got our run for the day. Too bad Casey isn’t pitching a no hit shut out.
  4. Right now we have four guys that Ed Brinkman could out hit.
  5. It would be nice if I had $10 million too, and just as likely as them going back to back apparently.
  6. It would be nice if Keith and Tork could go back to back in the fourth inning.
  7. This umpire is almost as good as the robot umpire calling the game on gameday.
  8. Walla Walla has a nice Downtown and that’s where you can run into Kyle McLaughlin who did all the films with David Lynch. He has a winery there. It’s not the heavily forested area of the northwest though.
  9. I hope the bad old days when we could lose 18 games a year to Cleveland will never happen again. There needs to be some serious karmic payback to make up for that. I’m not hoping for something like out of “Fallout.“ I would just like to see us win more than we lose against Cleveland.
  10. I hope some of the guys that have been struggling can put some good wood on the ball at Yankee Stadium and regain a feel for that.
  11. It’s not exactly like landing on Omaha Beach, but the next road trip is pretty challenging.
  12. I didn’t get TV this year. So, can you still see player’s underpants or was that just ST?
  13. It’s not like Riley is a diminutive shortstop or second baseman, so there’s no rationale for him to bat lead off.
  14. But I’m not happy because I don’t approach these things rationally or temperately. I’m an emotional fan. We had a lead and lost it in the ninth inning. I’m like a drug addict passed out in the alley and somebody stole my fix and I’m not happy just because they didn’t steal my money too.
