  1. I did notice that in the truck commercial they kept showing that one of the good old boys with a truck had a Tigers cap on.
  2. It means so little to me I had no idea the AL had dominated the last dozen or so contests. In fact, I can’t remember watching one since 1983. I must have, but I honestly have no memory of it.
  3. So does this game technically go down in the record books as a tie instead of as an NL win? I’m curious and I would be happier if it were a tie. Even a tie with an asterisk affixed to it would make me feel better. Although I’ll admit making a big deal about this is pretty lame.
  4. I guess if the idea is to trivialize an exhibition game, and to make a point about how meaningless it is, this is just about the best way to do it.
  5. Not Raleigh? Why not Ohtani? Why not Judge?
  6. A swing off? Why don’t they have an arm wrestling contest instead?
  7. Three of the best guys I’ve loved watching. It’s nice to have them on my side for a change.
  8. Bobby blinking Witt Junior
  9. But try to understand, try to understand Oh, oh, try, try, try to understand, He's a magic man, oh, he's got the magic hands
  10. I pay so little attention to the All-Star game I had no idea the American League had won 9 of the last 10 contests.
  11. I was screaming when Zach came to the plate. I’m surprised the neighbors didn’t call the police.
  12. Eric sent me all of his philosophy books when he was making a big move. That is if we’re thinking of the same guy.
  13. This game has the feeling of a Zach McKinstry upset in the making.
  14. We are not shut out thank you Brent Rooker
  15. Hey, the 715 thing is cool
  16. I’m smelling a shut out
  17. So every time I use my MasterCard I’m caring about people with cancer? Are there other ways to do this?
  18. I became an enemy of Pete Rose that day and it’s lasted ever since and when he got in trouble for betting, I wasn’t surprised because I was prepared for the worst. This may not be fair of me, but this is true.
  19. This game means less to me than a spring training game. Now Fred Lynn’s ‘s grand slam in the ‘83 All-Star game at Comiskey Park, that was the high point for me, ending the National League's 11-game winning streak.
