That was the year that the Packers and the Portsmouth Spartans have a game scheduled to end the year. The Spartans were 11-3, the Packers 12-2. But the game was marked as "tentative" because of the possibility of bad weather. If the two teams played the the game and the Spartans would it would have triggers a play off to see who was league champs.
