I absolutely agree except PG is the one spot where it matters. You have to be able to keep your guy in front of you.   It’s a killer if they can drive the lane with ease and either kick for a 3 or take it all the way for 2.

The west is odd.

The two best teams in the league are in the west.  Then about 6-7 very mid level teams.  Then some absolutely terrible teams.

Golden State would be 4 games out of the playin in the east.

Not sure how you recover your value at $10 billion in Vegas or even Seattle.  

Detroit is the #14 media market in the country.  Seattle is 13th, Vegas 40th.  Forbes values the Pistons at $3.65 billion, so call it four.  

An existing team in Seattle or Vegas is going to sell between $3.5 billion and $5 billion.  That price gets you everything, the stadium, the practice facility, the staffing, all the equipment, etc.  When you bid $10 billion on expansion, you then have to spend more money to acquire everything I just listed.

I don't really understand the finances here.

Something else to consider with two teams being added to the West. A current Western conference team will be moved to the East. 

Memphis, New Orleans, and Minnesota are the three talked about. Most feel it will be Minnesota. 

Another potential top 5 player added to the conference isn't the best news for Detroit.

twolves are currently 4.5 games ahead of toronto for the 19th spot in the draft, so it looks like the pistons will get their swap to move up 5 or 6 picks in the draft.

The great josh giddey missed another triple double by 1 rebound last night as the bulls put up 137 on the sixers.

and lost by 20.  the bulls gave up 157 points in a game.

no one should take any of these great looking numbers by mediocre players seriously.  neither team tried.  it was the equivalent of an all star game, without any all stars.
