So Michigan now falls into the "Poverty" category. I kid, I kid.....
-
True, but so has Michigan.

So my beloved Irish are #2 in 2023 recruiting class. I find that pretty amazing with a rookie coach and still independent. How can Michigan come in at #37 with a program that’s had Harbaugh 8 years into his run? 🤨

Handsome young man right there! Love his color.

They call them tank destroyers for a reason. Funny, my Dad and I talk about how we each got our butts bailed out by A-10's his in Vietnam and mine in Iraq/Afgahnistan! We are phasing out A-10's here at our guard base and bringing in F-16's.
-
Thats perfect, we are phasing them out and those are just what Ukraine needs.

A quick google search says you are wrong: https://www.concealedcarry-ed.com/texas/concealedcarry_law/ Texas Concealed Carry Laws Texas License to Carry Permit Requirements Applicant Requirements: You must be 21 years of age or older to apply for a Texas License to Carry (LTC). You must have a valid government-issued identification card, such as driver's license from Texas or another state. You must meet all qualifications to purchase a handgun. You must pass an approved classroom or online training course and demonstrate handgun proficiency shooting with a Texas-qualified LTC instructor. Document Requirements: Documentation showing successful completion of an approved gun safety class or training program*. Your completed application (LTC-78A) for the Texas License to Carry a handgun and any other supporting documents. Note: In addition to the above requirements, out-of-state applicants must also submit a copy of their state driver's license or identification card, along with the LTC-6 form. Applicants who are born out of the United States must provide, in addition to the completed application, documents to support their legal status, such as Certificate of Naturalization, Permanent Resident Card, etc.

I thought Texas had a pretty intense CCW training program? Classsroom and live fire range to qualify? Thats what my brother told me living down there.

When I left the Army the first time I started working for a military contractor. Once you do that you basically give up your rights as a U.S. Citizen during that time deployed (Uncle Sam will not extract if you are compromised). I had to take out life insurance on myself for war zone coverage. When I left that line of work I had to re-apply for CCW as a brand new applicant. They do check mental health through the VA as I was contacted during that time for a mental health eval.

None, in the past 10 years or so I have been buying parts from Roush, Saleen, Shelby etc. on their take off parts. When I go to pickup these parts we usually pay cash. Carrying 30-40K in my pocket makes me nervous. Indiana CCW was not honored in alot of states I would travel to including Ohio. I went to Utah and took a 8 hour CCW course and was certified. This covered 75% of states I did transactions in. Since then alot of states including Ohio dropped those requirements and accepted Indianas. With CCW dropped here I don't know how all the works now.

I have had a lifetime permit for 20 years. It was a little difficult to obtain one. You had to go to your local police station, get fingerprinted and go through a background check. It cost about $80 all together and took a month or two to get license in the mail.
-
The good guy said he would have not have been carrying if Indiana did not eliminate the CCW law as he did not have a permit. Bad guy had weapons we all agree he should not have access to.

No matter where you stand on the guns issue this kid probably saved a bunch of lives. I live in Indiana and I think the no permit law is bonkers.

Arresting people who refuse to get Covid tests and denying access to their money seems pretty bad. But what do I know, I’m just a dumb mouth breather at the end of the day.

I remember reading in the covid thread how China "Cared more about its people because how they handled Covid crackdown".

Would the Asian market be considered entry level? With the idea of growth with price increases gradually like in US/Europe?

Abortion and the Politics of Reproductive Rights in the Post-Roe Era
Tigeraholic1 replied to chasfh's topic in Politics
Conversation like that in states that are banning abortions. There has to be exceptions like the woman’s health, rape, etc. They need to invest in programs that help these women and their child. It has to go hand in hand, I know it won’t but it should. -
Misc stuff that shouldn't be the way it is.......

What does everyone think about this? My understanding was when he/she entered college HE swam as a male and was very average. Then switched to womens and blows the ladies away. Is this fair to the women in NCAA swimming? -

At the end of the day it is a silly sport in the grand scheme of things. You think they might fire him or have grounds to over this? I know you are on the inside so I was just curious your thoughts. -

Maybe his beliefs mean more to him than money and fame? I am a die hard Notre Dame fan so rocking the Michigan boat does not bother me! 🤣
