Hey, so question about the longevity of this trial...I think i'll just keep this thread for trial stuff for the Alvin Bragg things...even though it is done up like a GDT. I was thinking about adding another for tomorrow and that just seemed exhausting.

I gather he posted against Bragg during lunch and that may have violated the gag order.

From CNN's live tracker. I don't believe this for a second given that he fell asleep. Attorney Todd Blanche said earlier that Trump wants to attend every conference, including side conferences during jury selection. That means Trump will be “eye-to-eye with these potential jurors, in close proximity, as they answer questions,” many of them about the former president that could signal their political views, CNN correspondent Kara Scannell said. Trump’s involvement has been a focal point of his legal strategy not just in this courtroom, but in the months leading up to the trial when his lawyers worked to delay the proceedings, CNN correspondent Phil Mattingly added.

So, he's on notice that jail time will come.

Trump's rambling discourse on General Lee was something. He seemed to love him some Robert Lee -- went on a ramble about how he was now being memory holed -- and blamed the attack on Little Round Top (as near a run thing as there ever was) on someone besides Lee and didn't give credit to the saviors of democracy (which include the 16th Michigan regiment). He somehow wanted to make the PA audience he was talking to eager fans of the confederacy. Maybe if they are Trumpies, they are now? I guess that would be like rolling into the Rouge complex in Dearborn and telling a crowd of union workers that Harry Bennett was great and that they should never have taken down his statues?
