While at a Fairfax County, VA Wal-Mart earlier today... [FFX County is one of the wealthiest, best educated counties in the United States and rivals any metro suburb for education and income level].
Came upon three people shopping in the sporting goods section. White middle-age female with tattoos to make a merchant seaman envious, ancient desiccated lady with a cane and bald shaven dude in wife beater. Dude is looking at the ammo cabinet, which like most Wal-Marts anywhere you have to flag down an employee to get anything from. Old desiccated lady with cane "used to be you could buy firearms here". Dude looking at the cabinet trying to get it open himself. I sort of say out loud in answer to her: "Yeah, depends on the county". But no, you could never buy a firearm at a Fairfax County Wal-Mart...but I know for a fact that in prosperous but more ex-urbany Loudon County Wal-Marts not 3 miles away you can buy shotguns and hunting rifles. She repeats several times "used to be you could buy firearms here" and I just shake my head at her thinking we were in rural West bumflick wherever and walk away.
Not but a few moments later, the classy trio are in the aisle in front of me and old lady is bitching about the multi-ethnic customers of said store: "Nothing but parasites here".
I mutter under my breath..."I can only see three parasites".
Yeah, its Wal-Mart...its got the People of Wal-Mart and all that I get it. I'm there to get like three staples that Wal-Mart sells for a buck cheaper than my local grocery...the daughter is there looking for pool toys. I guess if you shop at Wal-Mart you got to expect people to come in from west-bumflick thinking that the store would be the same as the one in their Trumpy hometown.
