  1. Yeah, World Historical Genius Vladdie.
  2. But it was good that they had a dominant autocrat to guide them because of the unique nature of their nation which it is wrong to judge using the standards of Civilization
  3. I have my doubts about this as well Cool if true
  4. i have doubts... but maybe. There are just as many adrenaline junkies among our veterans as the Russians have Chechens and Wagner contractors
  5. He's got some details different than what I had thought. I don't necessarily agree that the Russians didn't have their phones. They have made a hash of this because this was all Putin listening to his "mypillow guy" (i.e., advisors who tell him what he wants to hear) who fed his vainsanity which resulted in a bloody mess.
  6. Now just get rid of Tucker
  7. Ask him later, much later. He's doing work to defend Ukraine. More than many.
  8. a little bit of reading on this topic reveals general pessimism that this will take 20 years. Turkey is still not in the EU for example despite applying in 1999. I was scratching my head that this was like...an immediate declaration of War for Ukraine. What it means maybe is that the EU doesn't want Ukraine to fail and will keep funneling arms etc. I think also this explains the exemplary behavior of Turkey in this crisis.
  9. This is interesting. I heard that Twitter was always wrong. And that Nord-2 was a sure thing and would definitely be why Germany wouldn't turn its back on Russia
  10. Yeah you just can't trust Reuters. GTFO
  11. I think he is going to level some cities. Its going to be awful. The emotional tug on us will be powerful.
  12. meanwhile his soldiers are operating with terrible opsec and surrendering in bunches
  13. It would and could be worse.
  14. This is a remarkable thread My colleague who made a career of following low-level Russian ops says "nothing surprises me"
  15. This was astounding. When i saw this I immediately referred to a colleague who has a bit more experience They told their troops this was an exercise and prepared accordingly. Hence the troop's lack of discipline.
  16. Yeah, how is it not? We were warm toward Yeltsin. That vestigal support for corrupt but lovable Boris was what kept us from smelling how bad Vladdie was.
