  1. Suck it, Leafs.
  2. Lead 2-1 after 2. I still feel the Leafs could win this 5-2 but decent outcome so far. Leafs are on the 2nd of a back to back.
  3. Red Wings win a period against the mighty Leafs. 1-0 after 1
  4. Gamesheet for tonight. Noticed that Husso's GAA has climbed to 3.03 and his Save % is down to .901. Wonder if he is getting worn down a bit.
  5. Anson has shared this now. Maybe it was already available this morning and I just didn’t see it, but goes into more details than the tweets. https://docs.google.com/document/u/2/d/e/2PACX-1vRPFXjz1OvGY9hgXbiyuGjHaTswk4_2ght-lrY4r__cQdqLIcBn-dxexqL4fL-l26YMEwCQLZdvjfnZ/pub?fbclid=IwAR3agY9JPuqnl8vbARRnEYvSdpqOO-X6qG7q4ZWt51EAL8e99VpQ0eDjjFo
  6. 7 different Red Wing goal scorers tonight. 4 assists for Seider.
  7. I hate the concept of 3rd jerseys, period. Except for maybe 1 or 2 times per year, max. If I am paying $150 to go to my one or two games per year, take some pre-game photos and such, I want the Wings in their proper classic jerseys.
  8. Didn’t see a 3-goal 1st period coming. 3-1 Wings after 1.
  9. So if he gets fired and then an NFL job calls through, is sitting in his couch at home part of The Field?
  10. Final AP rankings. B1G with 3 of the top 7, nothing beyond that.
  11. Exams? Or am I just being naive.
  12. Not that it really matters, but I don’t think it is a shoo-in that TCU finishes #2 in the final AP rankings. 1. Georgia 2. Michigan 3. Alabama 4. OSU. 5. TCU.
  13. Toughest game on the schedule might be at Penn St. I wonder if they would have had interest in McNamara if he hadn’t gone to Iowa.
  14. Sad: - No Detroit team has won a playoff series since 2013. Wings beat Ducks in 1st round that year before losing to the Hawks, Tigers beat the A's in ALDS before losing to the Red Sox in the ALCS - Pistons, Red Wings and Lions all made the playoffs in 2016 and the Tigers stayed in WC contention until the final weekend that season, but the only playoff appearance since then by a Detroit team was the Pistons getting swept by the Knicks in 2018 - It has been almost 15 years since Detroit's last championship in any sport, the 2008 Red Wings. Apart from the years between 1968-1984, I don't think there has been a longer stretch between championships since 1935. After the Tigers and Lions in 1935, the Red Wings won in 1936 and 1937 and 1943, then the Tigers in 1945, both the Lions and Red Wings a lot through 1957, the Tigers in 1968. Then since '84, had the Pistons twice in 1989 and 1990, then a bunch for the Wings between 1997 and 2008 and another for the Pistons in 2004.
  15. That is definitely a decent amount of blue.
  16. ESPN: Lions Eliminate Packers on Gusty 4th Quarter Calls https://www.espn.com/video/clip?id=35410354
  17. I believe I saw earlier that going into the game the Lions were 3-17 in last 20 at Green Bay.
  18. 5 minutes ago 🙂 Before, swept them in both 2017 and 2018 surprisingly.
  19. The only result I was happy about earlier today was SF winning. If they had lost and Minnesota taken the #2 seed, the Lions missing a playoff date with the Vikings would have been too hard to take.
  20. 9-8, with only three losses all year by more than 4 points.
  21. Dan Miller’s call of the conversion! Lions Eliminate Packers.m4a
