Of all teams, why did Hughes have to be picked by the Canucks. It has been the bane of my existence, brought up on a monthly basis by Canucks fans here I barely even know. As if it's some breaking news revelation that, yes, we should regret picking Zadina over Hughes. Duh. And none of them are aware that, as mentioned in this thread today, the pick was likely never going to be Hughes anyways.

I was wondering about that. Was it Bouchard? Or wasn't it Dobson? I don't think it was Bomqvist.

Skinner’s only 26, he has potential. I agree though that at the moment net continues to be Edmonton’s weakest link. Bouchard is no Quinn Hughes, but from #10 overall in that infamous draft he is way better than Zadina.
