Facebook has locked my account for some reason. The only way to unlock it is that they want some sort of government ID. I am NOT giving them any government ID. Any advice or is it just Bye Bye Facebook ?

In the book and movie The World According To Garp, Garp and his wife are looking at a potential new house when a small plane, sputtering in the distance descends and crashes in to the side of the house and into an upstairs bedroom. The pilot (alone in plane), apparently uninjured steps out of the plane and politely asks "May I use your phone?". Garp then proclaims "we'll take it!". His stunned wife reacts and Garp says "This house has been pre-disastered, we'll be safe here". Have we, having gone through all the pitching injuries in 2022 and 2023, been "pre-disastered". Seeing all these other pitchers fall, I feel like we already went through it. Doesn't mean we're safe, but feels like we were ahead of the curve on this one.

What makes it almost Mr. Show-like is the Lee Greenwood song in the background.

Anyway, How about the fact that with travel teams and tournaments that kids are throwing a LOT more than they used to at an early age and they are throwing harder and more breaking pitches before their arms are even fully developed. If this one holds, the Tigers record vs. the A's since 2015 is 14-42. A .250 winning Pct. I think the only time they had a winning record in one season was 2016 at 4-3. What the hell is it. Are they afraid of teams with green uniforms or something.

Once Oakland scored their 3rd run this one was over. So, what is the Tigers record vs. The A's the last 10 years. Feels like Oakland is playing .700 ball vs. the Tigers, no matter how good or bad they may be. We can't seem to beat this team.

The MLBPA is blaming the pitch clock on pitcher injuries, but I seem to recall that a couple of years ago, before the pitch clock, there were still a lot of pitcher injuries. We know about that around here, don't we? Remember 2022. Every one of our Opening Day rotation got hurt. What did we use, 16 different starters that year?

What I remember about the no-no is that Jack walked 6 and at one point walked the bases loaded and almost got thrown out for arguing. It was almost exactly a year after Milt Wilcox lost a perfect game with 2 outs in the 9th. I wonder how many pitches he threw that day............140 ?

I have been voting for Democrats and supporting Democrats and they have NEVER offered me any baby blood at all. Ever. I'm really tired, I need it.
