  1. I thought it was burned down by fire. Wow, you okay?
  2. Problem is that they only hear about Muslim extremists. Plenty of Christian, Catholic, Jewish extremists too. It's like Ireland, as the movie Belfast points out, the vast majority of Irish people didn't give a feck if their neighbors were Catholic or Protestant - it was only the loud extremists that got all the attention. Most people just wanted enough money to pay their bills and be left alone. That was the real Ireland and those old extremists are dying off - it's the safest country in Europe now.
  3. There is plenty of crime in my area. Last summer TWO families let their grass grow too high and Ted from down the street took his garbage out WELL before 5pm. Savages.
  4. I was going to respond to this a little while ago, but I was forced at gunpoint to turn to Mecca and pray. Now that I am done with that, do they realize that about a third of the Dearborn police force is Muslim now?
  5. Again, a little different than calling someone a pedo. Nobody gets upset when Trading Places airs and Dan Aykroyd is in black face on the train. The movie still airs. Maybe because he did it to rip off a couple of old racist guys. Revenge of the Nerds still airs all the time and there is a flat-out rape scene in the movie, but it's the nerd doing the raping, so nobody bats an eye. Hard to apply current standards to the past sometimes. I think it's the intent more than anything. Aaron Rodgers' intent was to be funny by calling someone a pedo, but first of all, Aaron Rodgers is not funny and the more I hear from him (I try to tune it out), I am thinking academics had absolutely zero with him getting into Cal. He sucked as Jeopardy host too. Hey Aaron, just jerk your head to the side real quick. The refs will call a facemask on Kimmel.
  6. Everything causes death threats these days. About 15 years ago, during the 2010 election when the nutjob Republican Sharron Angle (who would be tame now) was running for Senate in Nevada said my hometown was under Sharia law I went to a a few You Tube videos claiming the same thing and simply stated in the comments section that Dearborn was not under Sharia Law and I got responses threatening me with death and my email inbox got flooded with so many threatening emails that I had to end that account.
  7. Grimes is at her stupid **** again. She calls herself Princess Irulen now. Can't wait to hear what she names her next kid.
  8. Not sure they are big fan of cops these days either. Not the ones at the Capitol anyway.
  9. I got the Huge call of the Day once, it was right after his Detroit tour stop. Bill Laimbeer was there and was a bit lubricated and when I referred to him as "Billy Slam-Beers" I think that's what won it.
  10. Do you have a link to it?
  11. I prefer Rich Eisen and Dan Patrick, who can make fun of themselves a bit.
  12. Yeah, they can't use communist anymore because Putin is a hero to them.
  13. It was one of those apologies to anyone he may have mislabeled, it wasn't a direct apology to Kimmel, of course. To me it's not enough. Kimmel should sue him.
  14. All faked by Stanley Kubrick. Didn't you know that The Shining has a bunch of clues where he admitted it? Why can't you see stars in the background photos on the moon (Scientists and photographers have explained this but the kooks just call them liars - because we all know a control and detail freak like Stanley Kubrick would say "oops........forgot the stars". Every thing you say they'll dispute. As far as seeing the equipment on the moon, they'll say the moon is a big balloon in the sky and it's not that far away and space is actually just a bunch of really high lights rigged up by some Ed Harris-like figure from The Truman Show. You can't talk sense to them. There is no PROOF that they will accept. Yes, the reason nobody goes to the edge of the flat earth so they can prove that is flat is that it's surrounded by a giant Ice Wall guarded by NASA sharpshooters (I'm not making that up - some believe this). My theory on Conspiracy Theorists (followers) is that they have absolutely zero confidence in their own intelligence so they have to make you believe something that only they and a few super smart people know. You and I are just Sheeple and they are the super smart ones. I just want to know why millions of people convincing you the earth is falsely round - what would the benefit be on that? But these Conspiracy Theories (who I think are started by people who absolutely don't believe this stuff, but want to stir others up) can get dangerous. It's why Matthew Coleman killed his two toddlers with a spear gun (his wife had serpent blood and his babies would grow up to infect the world - again, not making that up). It's why Lori Vallow killed (or allowed her kids to be killed) - because she believed some whacked out religious conspiracy that her kids were demon imposters who would bring hell to the earth. There are a few conspiracies I buy - More than one person was behind the JFK assassination. too many random connections there. He wanted to break up the CIA for meddling in domestic affairs. Lee Oswald had CIA connections. Kennedy was likely going to pull us out of Vietnam. They had contingency plans is place way too quickly. The NBA Draft is frequently rigged. The Frozen envelope? Yep, I buy that one too. T But fake moon landings? Lizard People? These people are sad and stupid and vulnerable and those with very good media skills are slickly leading them to this mental illness and these types are frighteningly close to being in control of our country. There is going to be a case at some point where a Sovereign Citizen gets on the bench as a Judge somewhere and it will cause total chaos with our whole legal system. ****, people voted for that nutjob woman in Georgia twice now. She might actually be on the short list for VP candidates too.
  15. Well, he didn't actually say this, it was just an example, but he's gone back and forth on the fake moon landing thing. And this idea that only Joe Rogan knows how corrupt Big Pharma is - come on man, everyone with a brain knows that. That is not breaking news. He got the Carlos Mencia thing right and not much else. Yes, as Oblong says. That many people who "faked" it could never keep that kind of secret for this long. But try to talk sense to a Moon Denier or Flat Earther. You might as well spend your time teaching your dog to read. You'd have more success with the dog, actually.
  16. He accused him of raping underage girls. That goes being trading barbs. I don't think the apology is enough. I do think Kimmel needs to sue him. I just threw out a billion dollars because I hate Aaron Rodgers.
  17. But he's a punter that wears muscle shirts.
  18. And Jimmy Kimmel is not on the list. For those of you just tuning in, the Jimmy Kimmel/Aaron Rodgers feud was raised to a new level with Rodgers claiming Jimmy Kimmel would be on the Epstein list. He has since apologized. I think Kimmel should sue him for $1 billion dollars for such a horrible accusation.
  19. Mayhew is a holdover from Snyder and I have a feeling that everyone will be gone from the Commanders (maybe even the name) by this time next week. The sale happened to soon before the season to do it this year. I doubt the new owner wants any stench from the Snyder era removed (including the stadium, which literally pours sewage on fans).
  20. Hot Seat List ----GOOD AS GONE ---- 1. Ron Rivera, Washington. - If he hasn't packed up his stuff yet, I'd be shocked. This is where I think Harbaugh is going. Two Harbaughs in the Beltway. ---NEED A POSITIVE FINISH ---- 2. Arthur Smith, Atlanta. - If they can somehow rally and luck their way into the playoffs they might save his job, but probably not. 3. Mike McCarthy, Dallas - Look, the only reason the Lions had that shot is allowing his OC to call pass plays late in that game when they needed to drain the clock. That was pure stupidity. I think he needs to get to the NFC Championship to stay. The home run swing for Jerry might be Lincoln Riley 4. Dennis Allen, New Orleans - Thought this was an uninspired pick to begin with. ---TIRED ROUTINE--- 5. Mike Vrabel, Tennessee - Might be that it got stale there. If Bill leaves New England I think they will find a way to get Vrabel there. 6. Bill Belichick, New England - I don't know what to make of this. He should just walk away (he should have 3 years ago), but to think he could be fired is strange. But he has had plenty of time post-Brady to rebuild The interims 1. Las Vegas. Antonio Pearce deserves a shot here. Give him a three year contract. Stop trying to win the Press Conference. Don't make the same mistake you did with Rich. 2. LA Chargers. The most disappointing team in years. They'll want a completely fresh start. I know some have said Harbaugh (because he coached in San Diego) but I don't see Spanos coughing up that kind of money. 3. Carolina. They'll clean slate everything but who, of quality, is going to want to work for Tepper? I think he'll get a has-been or a coordinator that feels like they might only get one shot. Harbaugh Meter 1. Washington. New Owner wants to restore the team's glory and not many coaches could have the ability to turn things around quickly like Harbaugh did in SF 2. Michigan - Takes a year off for suspension and comes back. 3. New England - It's a bold move and there is a Brady-Harbaugh connection. I think Kraft would listen to any suggestions from Brady 4. Dallas - Could you imagine those to egos in the same area code? It would be like Steinbrenner/Billy Martin, but it's so crazy it could work (short term) 5. Las Vegas - Mark Davis might want more sizzle than AP. He should be careful. 6, New Orleans - Football overshadows all other sports there and a guy with Harbaugh's intensity and weirdness would play well there, but would he want to live in Louisiana? 7. Atlanta - Arthur Blank seems to want to get the attention other owners do, Harbaugh here sure would do that. Atlanta is not like the rest of the south 8. Miami - I normally would not consider this, but Stephen Ross is the owner here and that changes everything, especially if Miami collapses and does not win a playoff game (and looks bad in the process). 9. LA Chargers - Can't see them spending and they need to move back to San Diego anyway. Idiots 10. Carolina - No, no way, forget it.
  21. I think it went more like this Ref 1: Brad, why did you throw that flag Brad: You know why Ref 2: No, I don't Brad: I don't know about you guys but Jerry pays so much better than the league that I can't just let this happen Ref 2: Jerry pays you? Brad: Of course, Dean told me all about it. Dude pays well Ref 3: First time I'm hearing about it Brad: Well nobody reports to you, do they Ref 2: What's the flag for. Brad: To make Jerry happy. Rog will like this too. They are America's team.
  22. The trailers for it just seem to have Joaquin staring into space like he's been medicated. Very odd. He's a strange choice to play that role. Several filmmakers have considered this biopic but it never really gets done or done well. Stanley Kubrick wanted to do a Napoleon movie for years but never settled on a script. You know he really wasn't that short? He was average height for his time at 5' 6", but so many cartoons drew him as being an angry little man that it kind of stuck with people.
  23. No southern school in the CFB Championship since the first one in 2014 (Ohio State vs. Oregon) and Ohio State is kind of a southern school. I expect the South to secede over this in the ultimate temper tantrum. And I would be fine with that.
  24. Oh, wait..........there's a flag on the play.........they thew it 18 minutes after the game was over, but they may get a first down
