I am at the point now where I really have to wonder if it's good for our radio station to do any business with X. I get tired of hearing about how it's a good marketing tool. There has to be a point where you make a stand and even though we'll end up keeping it, for now, Elon Mush is pushing it to an dark extreme day by day by day and there may end up being more baggage from dealing with his company.

Or if they'd stop going shopping or to parades or going to school, then they would be just fine. They're playin' with fire there.

But wait, I thought it was a Mental Health issue? Guess not.

I agree. I think Belichick is very overrated - especially as a GM. Just look at the roster. The best move he ever lucked into is taking Brady, who he passed on at least 5 times. If Drew Bledsoe never got hurt, would the Pats have all those Super Bowls. Belichick is a great defensive coach, but yeah, it was Brady, it was always Brady. And speaking of Brady, when Harbaugh scurries to the NFL to avoid punishment (Washington Commanders), you know people are going to start cheerleading for Brady to be Michigan's next head coach.

So the Raiders had this Airing Of Grievances meeting with Josh McDaniels where the players absolutely laid into him and Josh sat their silently. Then LB Coach Antonio Pierce spoke up to defend McDaniels and told them that they had to build their own thing, their own identity and that needs to start now and then he said that nobody thought his Giants team could beat the undefeated Patriots in the Super Bowl, but the Giants internally believed they could beat anyone on any given Sunday and that the Raiders needed to find that mentality. Apparently after that meeting McDaniels went ballistic on Pierce for talking about beating the Patriots team he was part of in a "don't ever talk about the Patriots like that" and that was the moment where Mark Davis said "I've seen enough" Then Josh McDaniels calls his kids home from Trick Or Treating to tell them he was fired. Couldn't wait? And by the way, "Daddy got fired" still means Daddy is getting millions. That is one weird guy. McDaniels and Patricia are two sides of the same coin and players HATE them. I just want to say, that I am right about things maybe about 7 or 8 times a year and that's about it. When the Raiders hired McDaniels, on the old board, I said it would be a disaster. The league will be so much better off when all these Belichick errand boys are out of it. Guess Bill O'Brien will probably get another shot, for some reason, and that could be the end of it.

Week Eleven: Chicago Bears (3-7) @ Detroit Lions (7-2)
Motor City Sonics replied to MichiganCardinal's topic in Detroit Lions
Owens career lasted about the same length as Billy Sims. Had one great year but injuries slowed him down. I blame Biden. -
HOT SEAT LIST (Post MNF) 1. Brandon Staley, LA Chargers - He won't survive the season. Nice clock management Sunday, Lions fans thank you. 2. Ron Rivera, Washington - He might not survive it, he's done by next year anyway (new owner) 3. Arthur Smith, Atlanta - The NFC South sucks and they aren't making a move at all 4. Frank Reich, Carolina - This is not his fault, but coaches take the blame. Don't even have their pick in '24 5. Matt Eberflus, Chicago - It ain't clickin', they'll probably hire Pat Fitzgerald The Bears are dumb 6. Sean McDermitt, Buffalo - Yeah, looks like it's over for the Bills, the window is closing. Allen is Favre 2.0 (don't steal from Welfare families, Josh and no dicpics either) 7. Mike Vrabel, Tennessee - They made a run two years ago, but Jax and Houston are passing them by now, Just kind of bobbing up and down in the water. 8. Matt LaFleur, Green Bay - He's ALWAYS been overrated. But I think he gets another year with Kirk Cousins at QB (LOL) The Harbaugh Rankings 1. Washington - Owner wants to make a splash? Two Harbaughs in the Beltway. God help us all. 2. LA Chargers - But I don't think Spanos has the money. I mean, they are poverty-stricken. 3. Las Vegas - I think Mark Davis would love to, but does he have the cash? If Pierce finishes with 8 or 9 wins, keep him, if he does not, then bring Rich Bisaccia back.

I was gonna say, if you watch Tom Grossi, you watch Perna. Imagine doing that for a living? I was born 20 years too early.

Anyone ever check out Branden Perna's you tube channel That's Good Sports? He's pretty funny. Big Broncos guy. Every week he does a Top 10 power ranking and has a wheel with #1 - #10 on it - the curse wheel, He ranks them, spins the wheel and EVERY SINGLE WEEK he curses the the team where it lands. It's incredible. He spun the Bengals this week. He even spun the Chiefs two weeks ago against the lowly Broncos and IT WORKED. Hilarious.

When was the last time the Lions were 7-2 ? they got the win. Now, no let down vs. the Bears. The fact that the Vikings look for real means there are no let-ups here. Interesting. It was a push. The oddsmakers aren't trying to predict the score, they're trying to get enough people to bet on an underdog and they NAILED it today.
