I went with 74-88 based on this........... Last year - Every starter from our O.D. rotation had a long term injury/illness - Our hottest hitter early and one of the guys we were depending on in the everyday lineup got Vertigo - Our star rookie broke his foot the week before the season - Our other star rookie simply wasn't ready but they had no real options at the position so they let him stay too long - Four starting position players (Schoop, Candy, Javy and Grossman) all had career-worst hitting years, and by far Even with all that, they managed not to lose 100 games. There is no way that their luck could be close to that bad again, so only on that alone, I'm giving them another 8 wins. I think they'll hit alot better and draw a lot more walks. Their rotation is rocky at best, but they should score more. How could they not?

What is our rotation order? E-Rod, Boyd, Turnbull, Manning and Wentz? Or are they going Turnbull at #2 for the L-R-L-R-L combo? -

It's all in how much the Tigers brain trust think he looks and also would it be better, EARLY, to use a veteran or to get some at bats for a younger player. In a vacuum, from where this team is right now, you want to see as much of the kids as much as you can, but, and I think this is really important............they can't start 10-24 for a third year in a row, can they? That happens again and they lose a lot of June/July ticket sales because the buzz is over by Mother's Day. The thing is that Schoop is typically bad in April. He's had a couple of okay Aprils, but when he played in Baltimore and without consulting Accuweather, I am betting they were warmer than usual Aprils and absolutely warmer than Detroit or Minneapolis. They should put Schoop in a case with BREAK GLASS MAY 15th, but they can't. So they either cut him or just ride it out until the end of May, and if he hasn't started showing signs of life by Memorial Day - just cut him loose. Maybe Kriedler, Wenceel or Lupcius make the decision easier by playing their butts off in Toledo. The best case scenario is he gets off to a hot start and a team desperate for an experienced sure-handed infielder (there are some injuries out there) takes him off our hands. Hey Dodgers, we'll take some autographed Sandy Koufax merch and a Davey Lopes bobblehead and the deal's done ! -

Donny Sands fills much of the slot at DH and does very well at drawing walks and showing some surprising power (.374 OBP, 12 HR). Miggy is reactivated with less than 10 games left in the season. He steps up to the plate one final time in the last game of the season at Comerica. In the 8th he is brought in as a pinch hitter (something the team indicated would happen, and the reason the game is a sellout). The Guardians (having clinched their playoff slot) unintentionally intentionally walk him. Miggy is taken out of the game for pinch runner Parker Meadows) and the crowd gives him a loud, thunderous standing ovation as he slowly walks off the field, his Tiger teammates and family standing outside the dugout to greet him. Chris Illitch, overcome with the emotion of no longer having to pay him, cries one single tear.

I went to the Hens Opening Day last year. A very chilly day, but they won. It's a cool stadium. I need to go to a White Caps game this year. -

What is Toledo's starting lineup. Some interesting folks there -
Didn't like St. John's anyway. Now they are the evil empire. Pitino is an A #1 scumbag. Sure, he can coach well, but just this whole pious thing he does - it just irks me so much. He was a HORRIBLE GM in the NBA. One of the worst ever. So, now that Alabama is out, it will be interesting to see if Brandon Miller suddenly gets more serious charges What he did was unforgivable. He doesn't bring that gun, that woman doesn't die that night. That's gotta be more than a slap on the wrist, doesn't it? I still want to know how the MSU shooter got his guns - because he wasn't legally allowed to buy one.

The entire. He started the game on the DL. They were really up to date on the starting rosters. I am on Arpil 21st and Casey has 5 months left on the DL, Skubal with 2 months, Tyler Nevin with 2 weeks. 9-8 now. -

No shock about Lorenzen. He's not breaking 100 IP this year My OOTP Tigers. I traded Jonathan Schoop to the Rockies for Ryan McMahon. Shocked anyone wanted him, to be honest, I hit SHOP PLAYER AROUND. I was willing to take almost anything. My Tigers are 7-5 so far. Austin Meadows has 3 HR, but is hitting .194/.357/.841 Hey, he's getting on base. Miggy is tearing it up hitting .348. 16 hits, 15 are singles Spence at .261/.352/.830 Maton at .350/.426/.801 and to compare McMachon, 33 AB, .242/.324/.749 and Schoop 44 AB .227/.286/.536 Turnbull is my best starter 1-0, 4.26 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, but that's only 3 starts so far. Lange is tied for the AL lead with 5 saves, 0 ER in 9 IP Franklin Perez, KILLING IT at Erie with 4 IP and an era of 2.25 and WHIP of 1.00 What a comeback ! -

Well, if they were to draft him, he's going to be surrounded by a bunch of guys like Hutch, McNeil, Anzalone, Sutton.......I don't think he's going to get away with being lazy. I am sure that in interviews they'll figure it out. They seem to find their type of guys. -

G. You keep your draft picks and draft future players you don't need to be stars right now, guys that replace other high-priced guys in a couple of years. With Jalen Carter, I don't know. Not being shape for his pro day? Rumors that he may have been habitually late for team meetings, didn't have a great game against OSU. The drag racing stuff, to me, is dumb 19 year old stuff, but two people he knew were in a violent crash and he left the scene..........that's far worse than the drag racing itself. The being out of shape (with millions of dollars on the line) and *allegedly* being late for team things.........does that fit with the current Lions culture? I guess they'll have to meet him and get an idea of he's moldable. This team doesn't seem to have and would likely not tolerate malcontents. Or are the late-for-team things a smoke screen by some teams to drop his value? I know that happens. -
