The committee can justify keeping them at 3 for 2 reasons 1 - Their one loss was a close game, while OSU was beaten badly at home 2 - OSU didn't have to play an extra game and they should not be rewarded for that.
-
TCU is still going to win this game (1) Georgia vs. (4) Ohio State (2) Michigan vs. (3) TCU
-
Who is sponsoring this Big 12 championship game, anyway. I have no idea.
-
TCU is in, no matter what happens today (okay, if K-State beats them 48-10 maybe not). There has yet to be a 2-loss team in the playoff and the committee will keep it that way, plus there is a lot of TV viewers in Texas. So I think the playoffs are clinched now, no matter what happens today. Georgia, Michigan, TCU and Ohio State and it will either be.... 1 - Georgia 2 - Michigan 3 - TCU 4 - Ohio State or 1 - Michigan (if Georgia struggles and Mich wins big) 2 - Georgia 3 - Ohio State 4 - TCU I wish the Group of 5 had their own playoff system. 8 teams. It is really unfair that they don't get to play for any real national title. They could name them bowl games
-
Told you they were soft. They crumbled last night...............Folded easier than an empty wallet. Riley doesn't win the big games. Look how many immediate playoff exits he has. He can get you there, usually, but that's it.

Pac 12 no longer has divisions, I wouldn't be shocked if they just dropped their championship game next year. By 2024 the 12 team playoff will be here so it won't matter.
-
Do you think the Pac 12 president is calling Utah's A.D. and saying WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? YOUR COSTING US ALL MONEY !!!!!!!!!!!!
-
I could see TCU losing and OSU NOT jumping them with the explanation that Ohio State didn't have to play that extra game. Either way - Screw U$C for (potentially) letting those assholes back in the picture.
-
University Of Soft Californians blowing it big time. If Utah hangs on does that mean TCU is in the playoff no matter what they do tomorrow? I mean, a USC loss and there will only be four teams left with 0 or 1 losses and that would be your playoff. So would they have OSU jump TCU and play Michigan in the semi? If Georgia struggles at all tomorrow then Michigan needs to absolutely run it up on Purdue to try to overtake #1

2022-23 Detroit Tigers Offseason Thread
Motor City Sonics replied to chasfh's topic in Detroit Tigers
I have to throw a minor penalty flag on that. The 68 innings pitched was a pace of 180 innings in a normal season, but yes, the lack of innings the last two years, plus he'll be 35 in June, makes this a really really stupid signing. -

It will be funny to see them finish with a worse record than the Tigers next year. -
I am rooting for the University of Soft Californians because it's agony for Ohio State fans if they win.

Proposed 2024 Democratic primary schedule. Feb 3 - South Carolina Feb 6 - Nevada/New Hampshire Feb 13 - Georgia Feb 27 - Michigan No more caucuses for the Democrats (too time-consuming). Iowa & New Hampshire taken out of the lead. Two states with the lowest diversity in the country and no major cities. South Carolina has far more Black voters, Nevada is a shifting to Blue state, Georgia has a huge city and by the 4th week, Michigan will be the make-or-break state for several candidates. If you haven't finished in the Top 3 by Michigan, you're done. Imagine all the Democrats kissing our asses in the future. I love this, though I wanted Colorado & Pennsylvania early. Democratic voters are city & suburb & diverse and we simply weren't getting that with IA and NH and I think that is why, quite often, the most milquetoast of candidates survived - the kind of candidates who don't really inspire much. If it was this order in 2016, Bernie Sanders probably wins the Democratic nomination and produces a much higher Democratic turnout.

Even if they are one or two year bridge players like Justin Turner. At least JT still gets on base at around .350 -

Me neither, but I want them replaced with actual major league players who have an OBP over .320. I don't think that's asking too much, do yoU? -

maybe he just wanted to play in a place where the RF - CF fences aren't in another zip code and he figures 1/4 to 1/3 of those league-leading doubles would have been home runs most other parks........... -
That's why I am starting to believe he's not really mentally ill - he's just an insufferable asshole and nobody is there to check him, so his assholery goes wild. But you know and I know, he'll still sell records. Just like the jackass country singer who went to No. 1 right after video came out of him calling a neighbor the n-word. This country may not have lost it's mind on Election Night, but it can still be a cesspool. The internet makes it worse.

Did he think wearing a stocking over his head somehow hides who he really is? "Son, you got a panty on your head"
-
What if his "mental illness" is actually him just being an asshole?
