  1. Threats more like it.
  2. I hope someone flat-out asks them..............I am sure none of them will give an answer, but they should. In fact it should be required in all bills whether they vote Yay or Nay, why they voted the way they did. They owe that to the voters.
  3. So 28 Republicans voted against a bill that would protect child sex abuse victims. Its basically to ensure the FBI brings in experts to help investigate and inform victims of their rights. It might have prevented some of Larry Nassar's later victims. This was a pretty wide-ranging bipartisan bill that 28 reps just couldn't support. You know, protecting children. Why? Does anyone know why? It's the usual suspects. Greene, Boebert, Mo Brooks, Louie Gohmert. You know, the dumbfucks. But why? Is it only because Biden would support and sign it?
  4. Those two key plays the last two weeks........the pass to Sewell and the game winning TD pass to Brock Wright were incredible play calls for the moment but they also sent a message to ever NFL team that the Lions will throw it to anyone and I think this is the week we'll see Jameson in a lot of snaps and what do you do as a defense..........double ASB? double Jameson........go ahead but Chark, Swift, Wright, Mitchell, Raymond can all burn you if you do. They'll all catch passes pretty much every week.
  5. We signed Mario Feliciano................Feliz Navidad everyone.
  6. Sam Bankman-Fried is looking to buy a............oh wait a minute.............never mind. Larry David was right.
  7. I am just tired of us not even being mentioned on any actual major league players.
  8. Okay. lets hope that in 2022 we had the worst hitting coaches that ever lived, but our manager backed them all the way, and that is disturbing. So maybe they found great hitting coaches who can return guys to career average, but we still really don't have much of a hitting roster and I know the pitching will be dicey while we wait for everyone to recover from injuries (literally everyone at one point), but they need to inject something more than hoping guys bounce back. Avila left them in a bind, for sure, because the only tradeable prospects are pitchers and with our MASH-unit rotation we need every single pitching prospect. I don't think it's out of the question to expect that Flores, Kirby, Bergner and Madden all end up getting multiple starts this year. We need a couple bats, just be be a 70-win team next year.
  9. I know you mean Billion but the way Chris treats this team who knows. And I'm not asking for us to go after Aaron Judge or Carlos Correa (Mr. 110 games a year), but can we be in on some band-aid players? Anyone? You know, while we wait for future Hall Of Famer Colt Keith to develop? Who replaces Castro. Andy Ibanez? Wow. exciting. Oh, the recongizing the strike zone thing.... Harold Castro had a better OBP than Ibanez. 8 years of this and there is no end in sight. The Lions carry the hopes of this city for sports..............they've still got 3 weeks to tear our hearts out too.
  10. If you own a sports team, you should care about winning. One of the richest owners in the game and this guy doesn't even try. He doesn't even know half or most of the players on his own team. I'm just pissed off. Winter is here, our team is terrible and as bad as he was last year, Harold Castro was one of our most clutch hitters and we don't really have any third basemen on this roster. We have guys who can play third, but they are not actual third basemen............after years of high drafts, nothing close to being ready. And I don't care to hear about someone from at West Michigan who is probably 2 years away and has a .907 fielding pct in the minors.
  11. Mike Illitch bought the Tigers for roughtly $85 million. The team would sell for over a BILLION dollars now. Just to clarify.......85 million seconds would be about 2 2/3 years, a billion seconds is over 31 years. That's a hell of a profit. Sell the fucking team, Chris. Everyone knows you don't give a shit.
  12. Hey, we can't even sign a utility player like Brandon Drury. Come on, man. Seriously, are we playing Kody Freaking Clemens at third this year? I know hands are tied, but this is really deflating. This is Chris. This is our future, isn't it? Nothing year after year. We're the Pirates now...........we might stumble into the playoffs one year and then sell everything immediately and start over. Still like the front office moves so far, but those won't pay off for 4 years. So 2023, 2024 just mean nothing, I guess. As long as Chris breaks even. This sucks.
  13. yes, the day before. move your tv into the loo
  14. Why do I get the feeling Robbie Grossman is going to be re-signed. HEY, HE GETS ON BASE.........SORT OF.
  15. Another day of silence for this 96-loss team.
  16. well............the cologuard isn't all that difficult.
  17. Funny thing is my health provider just informed me that it's time to either do the Cologuard or the Colonoscopy. We'll go with the Cologuard please.............talk about doing it my way.
  18. They whored out the classic song "My Way" for a Cologuard commercial. What a shitty fate for that song.
  19. A man walked into the Dearborn police headquarters (my hometown) and tried to fire a shot at the officer at the front desk. The officer shot and killed him. Dude had a history of mental illness. I wonder if he got his gun legally. A few years ago a couple of idiots were walking around Warren Ave (the Arabic side of Dearborn) with automatic weapons wearing tactical gear..........you know, to show their 2nd Amendment rights. They walked into the Dearborn Police Station like that and are VERY lucky they weren't shot and killed. Even gun rights activists were calling those guys idiots. I have a feeling that there is going to be plexiglass at the front desk in the station in the very near future. It's a sickness.
  20. This is never going to happen and they aren't going to do anything to Trump, but it reminds me of this beauty
  21. Oh, they aren't letting that one go. Remember, Slavery was a choice !
  22. Well, since the Lions are the one team down there with no direct link to the Illitches, I think they are free of that curse. The Bobby Curse may still be alive, however. We'll know in the next three weeks.
  23. Who cares about them. Its their biggest weakness outside of their love of Satan.
  24. Commercial for a drug and they are targeting gay people, obviously, The drug is called Apretude and its for HIV pre-exposure. In one part of the commercial two guys are standing away from each other on a train platform and one of the guys looks over and smiles and I don't care if he's straight or gay or if he's smiling at a man or a woman, it's the most Serial Killer smile you're ever going to see. This guy must have watched Dexter to prep for this commercial. It's so freaking creepy.
