but it does. You're right, it shouldn't. Michigan and OSU should have had a rematch in 2006.........# 1 beats #2 by 3 points at home.................if that game had happened in October they probably would have played again.
-
People talked about all these ranked teams TCU played..........but Oklahoma? They're not good. Kansas? Came back to earth...........with each passing week their resume looks weaker. But ultimately it doesn't matter if Michigan is 3 or 4.........beat Ohio State and win the Big Ten championship game against (probably) Wisconsin (boring) and you're in. Michigan completely controls it's destiny right now.

I think it increases the chance of getting higher playoff seeds for 2 BIg Ten teams. Probably won't matter in a couple years when they go to 12 teams. But the team that loses this year will be out of the playoff. If the game was played around Columbus Day that's 6 weeks to climb back up into the playoff for the loser. They shouldn't be in the same division either. They can protect the rivalry game without being in the same division.

Last week he got away with one. You just sign a punter to the richest punter contract in history and you don't use him to pin Rodgers inside his own 10? Instead you give Rodgers half a field after what he's done to you for years? Stupidly lucky and an indication that he just don't get it. -

If Dan Campbell does get fired (and I do think it's possible)...............Shane Waldron will be the next Head Coach. I wish I could bet money on that. -

Just shows how broken this organization has been for years..........actually decades, but the 3 Tigers are from 2018, 2019 and 2022. Ugh. J.D. Martinez is about it. -

I don't think they're signing any big names at all this year. They are going to continue signing guys to 1 year deals who are trying to prove they are worth more. What do you do with your pitching. A ton of young guys hurt who should be back next year. A bunch of guys who looked really good at Double A last year but may not be ready, 3 starters right now in Eduardo, Tyler Alexander and Joey Wentz, who has his own injury history. Spencer Turnbull? Who knows. A lot of guys coming off of TJ have a rough time at first, but he had a lot more recovery time (he probably could have pitched last year). I am expecting Turnbull to end up a bullpen guy like Fulmer. So that means you need to sign 2 starting pitchers but youi don't want to give any lengthy deals, so the guys that might do that are guys just trying to get it back. This year's offsesaon is really about the organization and fixing the hitters. No way so many guys all have their worst years at the same time again and I think they can fix Torkelson. A lot of good players had tough rookie years. I don't expect massive turnover. 2 starting pitchers, a platoon catcher and an outfielder, none of them will be near the top of their positions of available free agents. I love what Harris has done so far. -
The Michigan-Ohio State game should be earlier in the season. I know tradition blah blah blah, but how many other college football traditions have been thrown aside in recent years?

I have a random thought. Tea Trea Enemas and Cleanses and whatever the hell else Aaron Rodgers is doing...............it ain't doing him any favors. He looks like a wrung out washrag.

Not a tough call there. But Jeff Saturday? Bringing a guy in cold in the middle of the season? That's seems like an Irsay move "Hey, that's my buddy.......". It seems like, of the 4 main sports, that is the one where it would be most difficult to bring a guy in cold mid-season.

Nate Cornejo's head would have to be wet all the time, though.

What were the Boston Bruins thinking? They sign Mitchell Miller only to have to release him less than a week later because they found out the "isolated incident" went on for years and included beatings and racial attacks of a developmentally disabled kid. Went on for 10 years. That's not a 14 year old that made a mistake, that's a really sick individual who only apologized - on social media, not directly - when the Bruins signed him (it was likely part of the signing condition). In fact, he continued to joke about it in college. How did the Arizona Coyotes not know this? What were the Bruins thinking? I don't think he's ever going to be welcomed into the NHL. -

COACH HOT SEAT RANKINGS 1a. Kliff Kingsbury, Arizona - 3 weeks until their bye week. I think it could happen before then. Of course, as has been pointed out - he was a losing coach in college. Kind of a dumb hire. 1b. Frank Reich, Indianapolis - The blamed Matt Ryan. They blamed the OC. Not working. Another team with a very late bye week but it could happen tonight or tomorrow. John Fox or Gus Bradley could take over. 3. Ron Rivera, Washington - The whole organization is a mess. Firing the coach could get a little attention off their crooked owner. 4. Nathaniel Hackett, Denver - He's in over his head and everyone knows it. Russ ain't taking the blame 5. Josh McDaniel - Las Vegas - One and done? The Raiders have done that a few times. Another Patriots assistant failure.

4th Quarter.......... Matthew Stafford has 158 yards passing.............120 to Cooper Kupp. Nobody can cover that guy. Does he have an invisibility cloak?
