Honestly, I have always kind of wondered what he was really doing there too. Don't want to say that because I don't wish ill will on his family, but something else was going on there.

The President always gets the blame, that's just the way it is. People don't investigate things. People don't care about what is going on elsewhere, he's the guy that is in charge and this stuff his happening while he's in charge, which, to me, is an indication with just how unhappy Americans are with the Republicans right now. That there wasn't a red wave during a time of massive inflation and recently high gas prices is a total indictment on them. The Democrats should have gotten the crap beat out of them, but voters don't want the crazies in charge and want to protect abortion rights. I am pissed that the Democrats didn't pay more attention to California and New York in the house races. They assumed they were in the bag and they were wrong and it cost them the opportunity to do a lot of positive things. And on the Gladys Knight thing..............you didn't hear Trump do things like that because Trump only compliments himself or people who kiss his ass...........nobody else exists to him.

Did you see the Whelan family's statement. Talk about grace. "The Biden Administration made the right decision to bring Ms. Griner home, and to make the deal that was possible, rather than waiting for one that wasn't going to happen."

When he gets popped again and gets banned for life, do the Padres still have to pay him? -

Who, Tatis? He should feel like he's lucky to still have a career. -

Interesting move signing Xander. Do you think they are trying to get rid of Tatis? They had a great year without him and he doesn't seem to be well-liked. Who would take on that contract for a guy who is one bad test away from being out for good? If the Padres want to move him, how much would they still have to pay him? -

Could you imagine if there was social media when Ernie got fired? Still the most senseless PR move in Detroit history. -

Former Tiger radio announcer Bob Rathbun had a seizure live on the air before an Atlanta Hawks game. Turned out to be dehydration (which can be scary). He's okay now. Bob got a bad deal here..........whomever followed the fired Ernie Harwell was going to be hated and that's why Frank Beckman didn't do it right away. -
Kurt Warner got the Cardinals to the Super Bowl. The Cardinals were the same as the Lions for 30 years.

Have to be a Trumpie to win the Primary Can't win the General being a Trumpie outside of a deep red state - and even there some erosion is occuring. I love it I don't know anyway around this for them. They have to support who the people vote for in the primary. They can't just pick someone else. Of course they could rig the vote, which would be hysterically funny, but I don't think they can get away with it. And if you think the Trumpie candidates are going to be less Trumpie the next time (you know, listen to part elders who tell them to cool down the rhetoric), you obviously don't know who you are dealing with. They're gonna be worse next time. Elders think they were too extreme and they think they weren't extreme enough. The Republican controlled congress will only serve to gum up the works the next two years and won't get anything accomplished (which is why you should see a lot of activity the next few weeks before January 6th). Because the moderate Republicans aren't going to get much done, the loonies will be the loud ones in Congress, which will make them look worse. Oh, and the abortion issue is only going to become more of a clarion call as more states get stricter on abortion rights.........meaning Democratic turnout will remain high with young voters and Suburban women. and Orange Jesus could be indicted on a number of federal and state charges in 2023 too. Grab the Popcorn. Grab the infused Gummies. This will be fun to watch.

We'll find out one day that the Tigers offered Xander Bogaerts 15 years and 777 million and he still turned them down -

I heard a rumor. They say you got a broken heart. -
Hey, he got his ring. I hope whatever he decides that he's alright heath-wise. Never had an issue with the guy, seems like a good guy, just didn't want him to win the Super Bowl the year he left us. And he did. Of course.

WRONG. Golladay made Stafford look good. It was all Kenny.
-
nothing about that statement surprises me.

Good for him. Kari Lake could learn a thing or two for him but she should be glad she lost, she'll make a lot more money with her Fox News show.

Has Herschel accepted defeat or is he saying it was stolen?

What a strange ride. They were 2:48 away from making the Super Bowl in the 2017 season and then just fell off a cliff immediately. They are 19-58 since then. Urban Meyer set them backwards about 2 years. Pederson's a good coach, but they are still at least one good draft away from being good again. They are like the Lions, they can beat anyone if it all clicks, but they can't seem to do it consistently. Can't fire the GM now. He's had some decent drafts recently.

I know, and I understand. Two things hamstring Harris #1 - Not knowing the future of our young pitchers and how they'll respond to surgery and treatment and it gums everything up for now. #2 - $40 million coming off the books after this season with Miggy & Schoop and possibly more than $60 million depending on what Baez does (I guess we hope he has a great year so he'll leave?). But they have to bring in SOMEONE this offseason. We have no idea if Turnbull will be ready to pitch or if he'll need time to adjust. We have 4 lefties in our rotation right now with E-Rod, Alexander, Wentz and Boyd and 3 of them are unproven and the other one disappeared for a month last year. Manning? Brieske? Who knows if they bounce back. It's at the point now where I expect him to get TJ surgery, might as well do it now. So now we need to talk about Flores, Kirby, Bergner, Olson, Rony and Madden. How many of those guys will we burn through this season? But that lineup is puke. I'm not saying Harold Castro will be missed, but he was the second-best hitter on this team last year (which is frightening). Sign a couple band aid guys at least. Justin Turner at third - I think that would be alright, he 's not looking for long-term at 38, he gets on base. . An outfielder, a bona fide starting major league outfielder, because the idea of having Baddoo and Carpenter in the lineup everyday is not appealing and until I see him actually play again in an actual game situation, I don't have faith that Meadows will play again. I knew we weren't going after the big guys and some of these long term deals are going to hurt these teams sooner rather than later, but can we at least get a rumor? Something? I look at our breaking news and it's Rick Porcello retires and we signed Matt Boyd. I know Jurckson Profar gets linked to the Tigers, but isn't he the low average, low OBP guy we just got rid of with Reyes and the Castros? Is he any different than they are? What's the point of bringing him here? The deeper this non-involvement goes and hearing quotes about playing youngsters makes me believe that no, there will be no increases in payroll and welcome to the purgatory of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Cincinnati Reds. This is our future? If there is no apparent increase in payroll coming then what the hell lured Scott Harris here? -

Here..............you got Matt Boyd, Be happy with that. Kody Clemens is your third baseman. Ryan Kreidler is your utility guy, even though he's not ready and your outfield is going to be Riley Greene and the 3 or 4 other people who survive Spring Training. Now take this and shut up, because we ain't spending on the payroll this year. Oh, and we extended Miggy two more years because there is no other reason for anyone to come watch the games. -
Chance The Gardner almost won Georgia.

This still is not a great day, though. About 49.7 % of people in one of our states thought that was the guy to represent them. That's fucking scary as hell and as bad a candidate as he was, it took everything to beat him. At least I won't get 12 emails a day asking me to donate (at least for a little while)

China is breathing a sigh of relief and our clean air.......while they will keep sending us their bad air and we can't have Archie Bunker on TV anymore because the the liberals. Senator Walker would have stopped China and gotten All In The Family back on the air - he would have done it by running very fast and avoiding getting tackled. Would have showed them. Now, we all lose.
