They know Nagy's getting fired. Who missed the guy in the backfield, was that Will Harris? -

Wow, a downfield pass on 3rd down? (still wasn't a spiral but I'll take it). Decker sucks -

You need to consider a couple of variables. #1, I think they are not going to shoot for more than 10,000 seat venues, are they? They are launching in a spring where there is a very good chance there will be no baseball. -
Baseball Reference is just so damned awesome, isn't it?

We do fondly remember the USFL because we won it the first year, but after only one more season they merged into the Oakland Invaders. I listened to a book about the USFL "Football For A Buck". It was when my dog was younger and we could go for long walks. Very interesting stories and some of the franchises did really well. Tampa Bay, Denver, Birmingham were making money but the rest of the league couldn't get any footing. Some teams moved each of the 3 years. The Breakers were in Boston, Orlando and New Orleans. The Pittsburgh Maulers were a disaster. The difference with the USFL compared to other leagues is that the USFL went after guys the NFL were going after, big name stars and landed some of them. Some people forget Steve Young was with the LA Express before the NFL and Jim Kelly played for the Houston Gamblers. I think they might have held on for a 4th or 5th season if Trump hadn't destroyed it with his ego. I don't think they are going to go after the star players the NFL wants. They can't afford those contracts now. Back in the 80s they almost could. Best thing to hope for is that it's almost like a minor league system (Almost), but it doesn't sound like the NFL wants to work with them at all. Already complaining about the name Panthers. The USFL had it first. I don't think it survives beyond 2 seasons, but I do think they are going to try it that second season in the home cities. I am pretty sure it's going to be at Wayne State. Parking issues can be resolved. -
White Sox bloated payroll for 2022, 2023 and I think if they don't win it all by then, they'll start breaking up the team. Tigers probably won't peak until 2024, at the earliest. Everything is fine.

Shocking news. Never really knew the guy, but met him a couple of times.
-
He also had some strong advice for Alice Sweet of Norfolk about what to do instead of worrying about when to plant her tomatoes.
-
......and then they'll have to eat their lunch all by themselves.
-
And that was their absolute peak.

People talked about how close Cade Cunningham and Jalen Green were om the draft So far this year PTS-REB-AST-FG% 14.1-6.4-4.6-35.0% 14.2-3.2-2.4-37.2% -
They'll screw it up.

Imagine being an Orioles fan and your team has done nothing for years and they are not even mentioned in any possible trades or free agents. i guess we were there the last few years, but it seems like the orioles never even try anymore. Some kid steals a home run ball and Yankee Stadium and they just quit.

Its a powerful word. I love that word. Maybe my favorite.

We're going to end up having to put barricades, big concrete ones on the side of roads for events because of situations like this. It's sad. So many psychos. What the hell is wrong with us? Why do we have so many people like this here?
-
Exactly. Everybody believes that once he tried to run over his child's mother that he probably should have been in jail. I don't know anyone who is arguing anything differently. The justice system failed everyone here. Rick Wershe, as far as we know, never even threw a punch at someone, in prison for 27 years (after risking his life to be an informant).

Do the writers relent and let Bonds and Clemens in on the last shot? Schilling had a nice career, but he's borderline. Never won a Cy Young. My guess is that like Jack Morris, he'll get in later. Sad thing is that Bonds and Clemens were headed there before the steroids. Had they admitted it, would they already be in?

My argument for Trayvon Martin. HE was the one standing his ground, not George Zimmerman. Zimmerman attacked him. Flat-out attacked him. He had absolutely no authority to demand ANYTHING of Trayvon Martin and the kid ignored him and Zimmerman turned it into a physical confrontation, and the kid defended himself. So because he was a better fighter or in better shape then suddenly he's the bad guy? Trayvon Martin was probably told when he was a kid not to talk to strangers - how did he know that Zimmerman wasn't some kind of pervert? Zimmerman was told by the police dispatcher not to approach, to watch and wait for the cops. If guys in badges show up, the kid probably talks to them and explains what he's doing and where his dad lives. It still makes me sick that the racist bastard walks free. But then again, it's Florida. Casey Anthony doesn't even look for her kid for 31 days and didn't even call the cops herself, her mom did. If you are a dog owner and your dog gets out of the yard, do you wait 31 days to look for it? That's all I would need to know right there, but you know..............Florida. "Turning Ahmaud Arbery into a victim after the choices that he made does not reflect the reality of what brought Ahmaud Arbery to Satilla Shores in his khaki shorts with no socks to cover his long, dirty toenails" That comes courtesy of a racist pig of an attorney named Laura Hogue. (I won't use the real word I am thinking in describing this piece of garbage). What was the reality, Pig? What did he do that should have resulted in his death? He walked in a house under construction. I've done that. I know quite a few people who have done that. He stole nothing. He was running. Is that a crime? He grabbed for the guy's gun? What would YOU do if you thought someone was about to kill you? What the fuck was this toenail reference about?

I was a big fan of the Matz. I like that they got to re-do the Don't Tell A Soul album the way the originally wanted to do it back in 1988. It brings out the rough edges the band is known for. They were really good songs, just a bit to polished.

If the NBA was really smart, they would have either supsended them for a length of time PAST their upcoming rematch, or suspended the two of them for that game. I don't think Beef Stew was actually going after LeBron. -
Translation: "I am just telling you what you want to hear with nothing concrete to back it up." Like the Bears ownership saying "We have no plans to dismiss Matt Nagy as Head Coach"

Keyworth seems like a good fit and DCFC draws very well, but that fan base will lose their shit if a pro football team plays there. My guess would be Wayne State. And I would be surprised if it lasted a second year, but we'll see.
