    Lions hiring a new DL coach with tires to Campbell and Holmes. Seems like a good hire.

    Well, I'll move this here. Charlie has always had inside info on Lions drafts so I think he has a good source with the Lions.

    He's usually pretty good with Lions draft news. None of this would be really shocking.

    That's not it at all. It's his flirting with other teams two years in a row and deciding while that team is in the air to honor your contract. I'm not certain he will just be a top candidate next year.

    That would be good because you have Soradal who came from a small school and the Lions are patient with developing players. I can see Sorsdal being a starter by year 3-4 and taking over for Glasgow.

    It kind of seems like a **** move by Johnson so withdraw from a job this late while the team is literally in the air coming to interview you. This is now the second time he has teased teams about being interested in a job and then withdrawn. I wonder if he gets as much consideration next year?

    Might want to consider making Bridgewater the starter since this Lions offense is so good even a caveman can do it.

    Stephon Gilmore is a good candidate for a one year deal. He's old but still good so that's why you can get him on a short deal. Plus the Lions are Super Bowl contenders and he can play with his brother.

    I don't think a 28 year old backup who hasn't played in the NFL will have trade value unless he comes in and dominates over several games.

    Sutton a CB2 who was asked to be a CB1 and guard the best receivers in the league. That also forced a practice squad guy like Vildor to be CB2. I wouldn't be opposed to signing Moseley again to a non guaranteed contract and see if he can't make the team.

    Hooker has no trade value. Just develop him into a backup QB and see what happens. Maybe a Drew Bledsoe situation happens and Hooker becomes the next Tom Brady.

    The deal will probably look enormous and people will freak but the details will probably make it look a little more team friendly.

    The money may be a Monty Williams type thing. He doesn't really want to be a head coach but if you give him enough he will.

    It's probably a combination of things. He's probably now among the highest paid coordinators in the game, the offense is returning largely intact, and it's a good culture with a good chance to win.

    Cousins says he wants 2 years $90 million guaranteed. Dak is probably going to get around $50 million per. I think it will take around 4/200 to sign Goff. Probably just behind the Hurts/Herbert/Burrow extensions. Tua will be another interesting comp as he is up but I think he is behind Goff.

    I hope David Blough makes the 3rd string emergency QB that way the backup QB duo can be referred to as Hooker(s) & Blough.
