Hey they did it! Berggren lets his man walk in right by him with little resistance to put in a rebound for a goal against for Cossa. Welcome to the team!
-
Put in Cossa you cowards
-
Just looking at points they pretty much have the same career trajectory so far: D+1 Buch 2 points in 10 KHL games, lots of minors games Berg 3 points in 16 SHL games D+2 Buch 29 points in 55 KHL games Berg 12 points in 24 SHL games D+3 Buch (so far) 29 points in 32 KHL games Berg 45 points in 49 SHL games Despite his size it seems like Buch goes into dirty areas more than Berggren likes to so hence my evaluation. I don't think he's super likely to be better than Burgers just that there's a chance.

I imagine his ceiling is higher than Berggren but I don't know how likely he is to get there. I really hope I can see some of his KHL games this season though, I haven't seen enough to have a truly educated opinion.
-
It seems like he's really refined his game this year, doing all the little things to get his team going I don't think I've posted any of these Looks like ASP will wear the C at the WJC for Sweden
-
Is the team better without Kane? I was okay with potentially not signing him then was thrilled at what he did sign for. I feel like he’s been a let down so far this season so I would say it doesn’t hurt having him out of the lineup.
-
What a play by Kasper in the neutral zone on the go ahead goal. Nice pass by burgers too. I feel like Berggren is playing a much better overall game this season, or at least lately.

Time to blow this team up? Or stay the course?

I guess people remember he was drafted super high? Seems like a lot, I haven't seen him play much but apparently his skating isn't fantastic. It'll be interesting to see how he does with the Wild -

Not sure you should go for that challenge there with how good the Devils PP is and how bad the Wings PK is....could see that coming. -

Old friend Tatar seems to have hurt himself throwing a check for the Devils, hope he's alright -

Power play goal....assisted by Petry who was qbing the second unit. It felt like a preseason game for a second. Raymond banks it in for a second goal! Assist to Tarasenko. -
With goalies being wildcards I personally give Cossa the edge right now because he's putting up good numbers against pros, but it is also a factor of being older so it really isn't Trey's fault. I just feel like anything can happen when goalies jump up in levels of competition so I rate Cossa more at the moment. But I don't fault anyone rating Augustine higher based on potential, he looks like a great prospect.

Week Thirteen: Chicago Bears (4-7) @ Detroit Lions (10-1)

I think it has been a lot of fun, I thoroughly enjoyed the first half. Sure I would have loved if the Lions scored a TD every offensive drive but the Bears have a solid defense and the Lions are still in complete control of the game. -

Hey they were even before this game I'm pretty sure 😂 -
Interesting list. Augustine over Cossa (and both higher than every other prospect). Plante over Danielson. No Lombardi. Edvinsson feels low especially as a "B". But I'll definitely take #3. I think they have some intriguing offensive pieces outside of this top 10 too: Buchelnikov, Finnie, Becher, Kiiskinen and Lombardi. Some interesting depth guys in Mazur, James and Savage for lower in the lineup. Now they just need some of them to make the show....

I take back when I said the Flames are a good team, both teams don’t look great honestly haha. Wings lead in shots at least I guess. -

Then Rasmussen misses a two on O because he didn’t lift the puck at all after receiving the pass. Even I would know you have to put the puck high there. Also seems like both teams are getting frustrated with the refs over non-calls. I wouldn’t be shocked if someone did something stupid soon on either side. -

Nice play by Rasmussen in front of the net on the PP leads to a DeBrincat goal, Wings up 1-0 over a good Flames team through 1. -

His wife is also from St. Louis and I believe he's good friends with their GM (probably from his assistant days), I think he was destined for the Blues My complete guess if Dreger is right and the Wings blow it over the homestand is Tanguay takes over as interim. But I have no clue. -

From a Lebrun video: Darren Dreger says Red Wings’ 3 games homestand might determine Lalonde’s future. The sense is that they would go with an interim internal candidate and hope that a top coach becomes available. -
I think Frank makes a lot of **** up but he's saying they have 5-6 offers on the table and are looking for a prospect of the same caliber. Personally I would probably just keep our prospects versus trading for him but I guess he's supposed to be a good player so what do I know. It would probably be one of ASP / MBN / Danielson if they wanted to do it. Maybe one of their top two goalie prospects but who knows. edit: from a Lebrun video: Chris Johnston says Columbus initially wanted another prospect back for Jiricek, but they’re getting to a point where they might consider a package of picks + depth defenseman to get more teams involved. They want it done quick because Jiricek is in the AHL and doesn’t want to stay there for long.
