  1. I used to drive by there before/after work and the cars those kids were driving was insane 😆
  2. Ahhh then that's completely understandable! I geeked tf out when he was leaving the moon and we saw the temples, I thought it was just a random planet at first. And I can't disagree that some of the rebel group's acting left a lot to be desired. It did feel like it may have been intended to be campy like that but ya still not great.
  3. Gotcha, I feel like it is either that or rage bait these days so I'm glad I try to insulate myself!
  4. That was a fantastic opening to the season, great speech that outlines his journey in a way. I'm not sure what you mean by the zone, etc. as I stay away from even trailers these days. I find myself enjoying shows and movies a lot more when I'm not going crazy digging into them on the internet personally haha. Is it inorganic "reviews" about season 2 you're referencing? I am not aware of any reaction to this season yet but I'm sure I'll come across it eventually.
  5. I believe so, this has the odds for each pick too: https://www.tankathon.com/nhl/pick_odds
  6. NHL will see how Bedard is struggling and getting criticized, time for Chicago to win another lottery 😆
  7. I thought it was a fun tie in since they were on Yavin 4 and theoretically could have further evolved into the rebel unit on the moon leading up to the battle there. It also was a nice juxtaposition to the sophisticated/more professional part of the rebellion (Luthen et al) that was actually funding this crew. Showing under the hood of the early rebellion you could say, not all the parts were actually good. Saw Gerrera also referenced not liking them previously in the series and I enjoy things like that making the universe seem actually real. On the surface it didn't seem to have much to do with the story outside of holding up Andor while other stuff happened but I personally liked the little details within the whole thing myself.
  8. edit: never mind realized I don't need to stir anything up lol
  9. I thought I was going crazy when 1. it was allowed and 2. the kings didn't challenge lol.
  10. I'm really excited about the two OG they drafted. I feel like a lot of their offensive success is based around their line and having guys who are athletic enough to execute multiple blocks + exotic schemes (mostly Sewell). With their interior line getting older and older it has been a worry of mine losing some of that.
  11. A lot of good series going right now in my opinion. Andor, Mobland, The Studio, Righteous Gemstones....I'm loving it. I need to watch the Pitt too.
  12. that's been the yzerplan all along
  13. Huh seems very random, I thought the Canucks had cap issues but looking at their finances doesn't seem to be the case. Could be available, in Rutherford's press conference the other day it already sounded like he was resigned to Hughes leaving to play with his brothers in the future!
  14. Agreed, it sucks we have guys like Danielson, Lombardi, Mazur, Plante, Cossa and Augustine in our pipeline!
  15. Lmao wow, wah wah maybe if the team wasn't already on a losing streak and out of a playoffs spot going into the deadline it would have made sense to pay the silly prices for mediocre players at the deadline. Take a look in the mirror, what a subpar captain he's turned out to be.
  16. LOL. Tuomisto just smoked a puck off of Knyzhov and into his own net. Cossa was flabbergasted, that was really funny on the replay. I said I'd stop flooding but that was too funny not to share.
  17. I think it is too early to pigeon hole him into a Copp like career despite not putting up gaudy offensive numbers (still better than Kasper last season!). He's handling all the 1C duties as a 20 year old in the AHL and doesn't look out of place anywhere to me. GR just gave up a goal and then threw his line out and he made a really nice rush carrying the puck through the neutral zone by himself, turning momentum around nicely. He skates way better than Copp and shows more creativity in my opinion. Maybe he turns into Copp but I think he's got more in him offensively. On Rockford's goal ASP definitely could have played the 2 on 1 situation better, but he was at the end of a shift plus odd man situation so I'll give him a pass. He just made a nice backcheck to erase a scoring chance at least. My stream is getting really choppy not sure how long it is going to hold on...
  18. 0-0, really fun period, if these teams play each other in the playoffs it should be a good match up. Overall I thought Finnie and Lombardi looked really good, Finnie is really intriguing. ASP looked great on the power play, at 5 on 5 he seems to work well with Buium though they did get hemmed in their own zone at one point. Cossa looked really good, made a couple saves with traffic in front of him and looked calm/composed. He even made a nice play on a puck that Rockford tried to ring around the boards, knocking it down with his stick. Danielson's hockey IQ is evident, he does a good job erasing plays coming on the backcheck. He had a couple nice passes on the power play, flubbed a 5 on 5 scoring chance. He's playing PK and PP as well as line 1 C. Tuomisto looks like an AHL guy to me, foot speed just isn't enough to make up for being out of position at times. Johansson looks pretty good carrying the puck, didn't notice him a lot. Wallinder seems like an adventure out there but more often than not gets the job done. MBN took a dumb penalty trying to do too much on a forecheck. He does seem to be looking for his shot a lot which I like. So far I would say it looks like ASP could play for the Wings next season no problem, he's very noticeable against AHL talent. I'll stop flooding the thread with my thoughts after this 😂
  19. 5 on 3 against GR after a dumb Austin Watson penalty. Wallinder and Tuomisto on defense, LOTS of length there. They use it well, though Wallinder didn't get the puck out a couple times when he shouldn't have. Cossa made a couple great saves to keep it 0-0. Wallinder seems to have a little mean streak to him, I know Johansson does too.
  20. MBN on unit two, fumbled a play at the blue line, got a decent shot off of a Danielson pass. They had MBN in the sort of DeBrincat / Ovechkin-lite role and Danielson as the bumper.
  21. ASP on Grand Rapid's first power play unit, looked good with his decision making.
  22. Excited to see how Becher and MBN play together, Becher has been playing well lately. It is also interesting that both Lombardi and Finnie are playing center, I think they've both been spending time at wing. Hopefully my stream works when it comes to game time...
  23. Oof Raymond crashes into the boards with his shoulder, went to the dressing room right away.
  24. Justin Holl revenge game! He scores after getting an assist on the Watson goal lol. Kasper assist.
